Where Georgetown Cupcake serves the neighborhood's preppy population with iconic pink boxes and flower topped cupcakes, Baked & Wired is the hipster/indie alternative. There is absolutely zero pretension at this no-frills bakery and the quirky staff is always welcoming. Order the Vanilla latte cupcake and then go to the other side of the shop to get ""wired"" aka get a cup of fresh brewed coffee. Oh! And don't forget Fido. Baked & Wired has dog treats to bring home to your favorite pup.
Pros: More than just cupcakes. Mmm..
Cons: You can't order drinks and food at the same counter.
