There are certainly many great seafood restaurants to choose from in the Charleston area, but if you are out on Folly Beach you may not want to drive all the way back into town or to Mount Pleasant. Therefore, I recommend visiting the Crab Shack on main street on Folly. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the crab cakes are to die for. The beer is cold and the locals are always hanging out here so it must be the place to be.
