I had no idea when I moved to the west side of Harlem that there was such a wonderful park just across the street. After a few days at my new digs, I decided to see what was near my apartment. Low and behold, Riverbank State Park. The park is the only state park in the city and it has almost everything you could want. It has a track, soccer field, basketball courts, tennis courts, pools, a gym, an outdoor concert setting, a huge picnic area and a roller rink that turns into an ice rink in the summer. Stop by and see what's happening. Most of their activities are free or are inexpensive. A great place to hang out or bring the family!
