LOST MY BUSINESS FOR GOOD.\r
Hamid and his shop does not care about customer service or repeat clients. His latest stunt with bait and switch price quote practices will not be tolerated. I've done 4 cars at Sunshield and will not return. Historically, Sunshield offers three packages: $100 for basic tint, $150 for 3M FX Premium, and $200 For 3M CS. On May 2013, I got my car done with 3M color stable for $195 (just checked receipt), which was a fair deal at the time; however the quality of the application was not as good as I remembered. The window weather stripping was misaligned on my vehicle and there were some razorblade marks. I recently inquired about doing another car and Hamid said, since I am a repeat customer, he would cut me a deal of $180 for 3M Color Stable (knocking off $20 the standard price). After the phone call, I relayed this to my GF and she accepted it and did not want me to spend anymore on her car. \r

Weeks later, I called in to make an appointment. The receptionist gave me a date and time and I asked her to put the quote we have agreed upon on the work order. She hesitated and asked to get Hamid's approval. I mentioned about our previous conversation and he got upset and said it never took place (Which he was mistaken as I wrote down his information in the presence of my GF). He continued to argue with me and condescendly stated that I called the wrong shop. Sunshield is the only shop I have done business with and I did not get my quote wrong or call a different shop. I kindly asked if he would honor the price and he basically ignored me and said ""Hold On, I have customers, let me call you back 5 minutes later"", He never did. I called back two hours later and finally spoke with him. I asked if we can do business and he kept saying I was mistaken and that the market rate is $350-450 for that brand. I mentioned this was nonsense because I did the same tint job with them earlier for just $195. I reiterated that I was a repeat customer and was dissatisfied that he was insinuating that I was not honest about our conversation. Hamid than began to back peddle and offered another rate, but still too far apart from his original agreed upon offer. \r

I mentioned that this incident is not going well with me and I may post this experience to social media sites such as Yelp. He proceeded to say ""I don't care, I have enough business, I don't need you or Yelp; take your business elsewhere--we have the best prices"". Afterwards I went to 3M.com and found a place called ""Andy's Window Tinting"" in which he will only charge me $185 for genuine 3M Color Stable and booked an appointment with him. I suggest other people do the same and not risk dealing with Sunshield or Hamid's rude tactless attitude (as other reviewers have complained).\r

Note: In other reviewing sites, 100% of the reviews where clients needed warranty issues with their Tint were negative. Hamid is horrible to deal with.
