I appreciate honesty in a car repair shop.
Just took my old 99 Mercury Cougar in to Precision Automotive for an oil change and because I had been noticing puddles of water under the car the last week or so. I braced myself for a possible big repair bill, but was happy when Chet let me know that it was just a loose hose clap and they took care of tightening that up and topping off the coolant for no additional charge beyond the oil change. I know there are places out there that would have told me I needed a big repair.
They'll also go over the car and make recommendations for maintenance but with no pressure whatsoever. I don't put on that many miles on this car so I'll pass on some of the suggestions. They've also dropped me off and picked me up a work for longer repairs.
I appreciate the friendly honest staff and will continue going to this shop.
