So the first meal I ate there with my wife and son was the best I had eaten in Cannon Beach. It was so good we returned the next night and on the second pass the food was just ok. The chief walked out into the dinning room and complained loudly that my wife would order her steak well done. He said: ""I will not cook that meat to well. I just will not do it."" I was amused by the outburst. There were also several people sitting at the bar talking in loud voices using profanity liberally. I complained to the waitress who understood my concerns given my 6 year old. Unfortunately, she seemed unable to address the issue. I guess these 'ladies' at the bar were examples of some of the local women. I noted that they were wearing Cannon Beach Fire tee shirts - not the image you want for the local fire dept. All in all a mixed bag.
