Summer 2005: I considered myself to be a fairly organized individual. That was before A.J. arrived. She systematically analyzed my apartment, quickly visualizing efficient and creative uses of space. A.J. began by asking questions about my daily functioning/living. By doing so she created an atmosphere in which I felt relaxed and well understood. To her, organizing is a challenge to be tackled and a puzzle to be solved. Throughout the project, I felt supported. She helped me to move forward even when I felt overwhelmed by the prospect.
