I know something about coins having working as a numismatist several years back at the biggest coin company in the U.S. Recently I went into American Coin Express at their Sunset location to sell some circulated Morgan and Peace silver dollars. I had spoke on the phone with Dennis and it seemed like it might be a reputable business. When I came in, the first thing I could tell is Dennis didn't know much about coins. He had to look at two coin books to know which coins were common dates. Then he offered me a price which was 35% below the melt value of the silver in the coins, which is ridiculous and much lower than any other dealer quote in town. He obviously thought I didn't know any better. Needless to say, I decided to take my business else where and so should you. This place preys on gullible customers!
