I am currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technology program at Western Career College. I am 36 years old and a single mother with very little help. I am a former retail business owner of 10+ years. When the economy crashed in 2007/08, I was forced to close my businesses and find another path in life. I had always been financially secure and never thought I would have to make such a drastic career change.
