I have lived in Statesville all my life and D'Laney's is a dung hole for shady people to get their drink on. The live music is boring and drab and so does the service. There is soooooo much smoke in the bar that you can barely breath and there is always more people that get on your nerves than I can count. Don't go there ever if you are looking for a place to hang out. There are better places just around the corner with a more polite attentive staff and better atmosphere! Try Mayo's Ristorante Lounge or The 2nd Fret. These places are much better and not to mention The 2nd Fret is non-smoking!! Avoid D'Laney's at all costs!!
