Just have to say I've been going to Peggy's regularly for many years. It's the best bar in the northwest suburbs, Period. I dine out every week all over Chicago and the northwest suburbs and return to Peggy's because of the great staff, upscale clean environment, and excellent food. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and do take the time to say hi, making you feel welcome. I love the Shepard's pie, meatloaf, cornbeef, just to name a few. In fact Peggy?s food is the closest to a home cooked meal I?ve ever had! The negative reviews written previously sound more like a personal vendetta against the establishment rather than an honest review. Yes it was awarded Business of the Year, and it's for a reason. When passing through our great town of Arlington Heights, you must stop in for a pint and some great food! Peggy's is simply the best. Period.
