I'm so thankful that City Vet exists -- not only because it is extremely convenient to my home but also because the staff is wonderful and I know my cat is getting excellent care. I used to travel all the way to carroll gardens to see a vet with qualities of Dr. Adams at City Vet (friendly, knowledgeable, non judgemental, gentle and respectful towards animals and people). Now I just have to walk a few blocks. It's a clean, positive environment and everyone is friendly and professional. Dr. Adams is extremely respectful toward my 18 year old cat and has a special way of disarming her in order to administer care -- I don't know what it is exactly but the cat just lets her do stuff -- stuff that she would never let me do. I have met other people who have taken their pet(s) there and we all feel the same way. Do yourself a favor and take your pet to City Vet. Dr. Adams is a true animal lover and excellent doctor. The household pet whisperer is in LIC!
