I recently received a letter in the mail regarding a bill I'm behind on. All fine and dandy, I realize I owe, just can't pay it off 100% right at the moment. Then I open and look at the letter. It's for 4 times the amount that I owe the original creditor! I owe approx 600 yet, and this is for over 2400! I then went to their website to see if this was perhaps a typo on the letter and the website has that I owe over 3000 for this account! The original medical debt wasn't this much 1 year ago when it occured!!! Needless to say they'll be getting a valiadation request from me, and I'll be filing a complaint.
