I shouldn't have any hair left. Seriously - I do something for color every single time I get my hair cut. Its only because the talent of the lovely ladies at Salon XL that I have any hair let alone very healthy and pretty (if i do say so myself) long locks. A lot of people seem shocked about the ""song and dance"" with Kerastase but Salon XL ladies are professionals... they suggest items that will keep your hair healthy and strong. If you don't want to buy Kerastase, don't. But again, if I am spending dollars on gorgeous color and cut then I want to best products on my hair all month round (not just the day of my salon visit).
