I can be assured of a great meal everytime I go. I can also be assured that I will run into friends. Sperry`s has a warm and inviting atmoshpere with a ""cheers"" sort of vibe... even if by myself I always feel comfortabe ..the food is wonderful and I love the sald bar..great home made dressings... fairly priced wine list and some of the best fries in town...to the reviewer who said Sperrys was decorated country western...did your guide dog tell you that? It`s English pub with stained glass , nautical theme and almost everything in the place was hand made by the late Houston Thomas, founder Sperry`s and collector of all the wonderful art and quirky antiques that adorn the walls. Comfort food for me ..a glass red wine, salad with the blue cheese vinaigrette, bacon wrapped fillet , fries and asparagus with hollandaise...my favorite thing for dinner anywhere!
