Ichidai is the best sushi, period, in Portland. The service and the office-building atmoshpere might not be all that inviting, but it is well worth it. I live just a couple of blocks from Saburo's and NEVER eat there. Ichidai is just so much better...Get the cold unfiltered sake to enjoy while the service is slow. I highly recommend their Lobster Scallop roll, the creamy scallops, and the seaweed salad. Even the miso is extra good!
