For lunch, I had the Cajun Shrimp Fettucine special for $5.99. It came with delicious sour dough bread and a large side salad that had tomato, carrots, cucumbers, and cabbage in addition to the lettuce.
The fettucine was cooked just right (al dente). The sauce was a creamy and pink and not too heavy. The sauce had a nice, but not overwhelming, hint of fresh garlic and other spices. The shrimp and mushrooms were pleantiful. There was no skimping on ingredients. The portion was hearty.
My server was attentive and likeable. There was no wait to be seated.
McGrath's reminds me of my many visits to Seattle and the Northwest. Neat atmosphere.
