of white-bread, mass-market, junk Tex-Mex. The new digs are a huge step-up from the old San Pedro location -- wonderful open dining room with relatively attentive service. But if you want authentic Tex-Mex, look elsewhere. Alamo Cafe's Tex-Mex offerings are one step up from the TV dinners I ate as a kid (growing up in SA with Mid-West transplanted parents).
