The cab drivers I talk to is pretty cool..but they could be on time for a change,,but also when the welfare people aren't sucking up the real taxpayers time there is no problems with yellow. more

The WORST cab company in the city of Akron ! They will make you wait for hours, and when you call to complain they cancel your cab !! The cabs are filthy and unsafe. More than half of them need repair work done on them. The owner does not care about anything other than making a buck. They don't have working seat belts in them and need brakes, shocks or struts. The upholstry is always torn and ripped. I actually was in one that had the passenger side mirror duct taped to the car. The dispatcher is not friendly, curteous, or professional. When you call to get a cab they act like you are inconvienceing them ! If you want quality, timeliness and professionalism call Falls Suburban! They are the best out there!!! more

the cabs in akron are always late, and somtimes rude to costumers, it seems to me that checker cab is just as bad overcharging for rides and bad attitudes, i heard there was a new cab company in akron more

Yellow Cab is a professional taxi service--they will pick you up and drop you off wherever you request (as long as you are paying for it, of course). The drivers are quite respectable and courteous, and they are helpful with luggage or shopping purchases. The taxis themselves are older model cars that aren't the best looking cars out there, but they run well and are comfortable. Prepare to call Yellow Cab for a pick-up at least a half hour before necessary--that will ensure that the taxi arrives by the time you need it. Quite often this company gets busy and many times customers have to wait awhile before their taxi arrives, so plan in advance for this and you will have no problems.
