I have been a Cubs fan since I was 5 years old. Nearly 30 years later, STILL a Cubs fan stuck in a world of Sox fans (Family and friends) I have stood my ground. I will defend the...

Worst

Historic Wrigley, second oldest park in the majors. People go here to see and be seen. They go for the green ivy and the cold beer. The local patrons go for the sun and fun....

Good day at wrigley 4/28/2003

great time at the ballpark..lots of tradition,people,freaks,families,food,...my only minor complaint...i wish they would be louder on the speakers and give out more batter info. also, weather wise...it is a very wierd weather ballpark. hey ,iam from Canada...but that wind coming from the lake, and if you are seated in the shade in april...bring a blanket or two. Pros: tradition rocks, good team, lots of girls Cons: cold in shade in apri, ban cellphones, get up when inning en more

Two words, it's Wrigley 4/26/2003

First thing I did in my first visit to the Friendly Confines was grab a Brat and a Beer. Then sat back and watched baseball in one of its temples. I've seen Fenway, and Wrigley just puts it to shame. The crowd reminds me that a team can stink and people will still be loyal and unless you're a Chi-Sox fan you gotta love the Cubbies. Pros: Wrigley-neighborhood, Wrigley-brats + beers, Wrigley-pure baseball Cons: seats are kinda tight more

GO CUBBIES!!!!!! 12/29/2002

ITS ONE OF THE #1 WAYS TO SPEND A SUNNY SUMMER AFTERNOON. THE PEOPLE (the bleacher babes), the green of the grass, the roof tops, the crack of the bats, the smell of brats, the cool wind off the lake, a sammy home run, the blue sky, the warm sun, the 7th inning stretch, the ivy, the score board, being w/ friends, it cant be beat. WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR. SEE U NEXT APRIL ON OPENING DAY IN LEFT FIELD BLEACHERS! more

Gross! 12/27/2002

I hate going to Cubs games. It's like a frat house. The park is so cool and baseball is great, but I'll take any game in any other stadium than Wrigley. Pros: a legend! Cons: crowd, parking, value more

If you want a Party 12/5/2002

If you want to party, the Vineyard is for you. Now if you want to see MLB. Go to 35th and Shields and see the Chicago White Sox play MLB. Wrigley now has the braging rights to have the 2nd highest cost for attending a baseball game. Sit in the bleachers for $30? And Pay $6 for a beer? The only thing that this old place has over Comiskey is location. Bars, resturants are a plenty in this yuppy ""I don't care whos play"" park. Oh don't drive to this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $25+ parking. Scoreboard needs paint too. Don't bring kids. more
