There's nothing that sums up a classic Chicago getaway better then a day pilgrimage to the legendary Wriggley field. If you can actually find reasonable parking and a ticket, then sitting way out in the bleachers, shades on, flesh bared and burning, beer in hand, is nothing short of a religious experience. In the pews of Wriggley, surrounded by the greenest of ivy, a normally cool lake breeze, and a couple thousand rowdy friends, you can't help but feel the energy and excitement of the experience. You can still feel the ghost of ole' Harry Carey, the god-father of Cubs baseball, roaming its bleachers. A Carey-led seventh inning stretch belting of, Take Me Out to the Ballgame, is a sacred rememberance. The smells, the sights, eh and da' beer make this a must-do, must-see outing/experience while in Chicago.
Pros: Sense of family, Da' Ivy, Da' Beer
Cons: Nightmarish parking
