Same as everyone else here, I will NEVER rent a property this company represents, no matter how nice the location. The property manager I had the misfortune of working with for the 5 years we rented the property was condescending during all communications and I found it very difficult to maintain my professionalism with him talking to me like I was 5. I'm a father of 3 children and I don't treat them the way he tried to treat me. I was also charged the nearly $200 for lawn maintenance even though I mowed, edged, and trimmed the bushes the day I left. There were cleaning costs taken out to the tune of another $200 which I find laughable as I paid a service $318 to professionally clean the place. It's as if they have a standard deduction they apply to everyone. In the end I received less than half of my security deposit back after investing hundreds of dollars in an attempt to get my security deposit back in full. I figure taking them to court over $700 is pointless, but sharing my horrible experience with them will hopefully discourage any of you hard working individuals and families from falling victim to this company. I wish these reviews were here when I first entered the agreement with them. more

Beware!!!! 3/17/2012

We were very dissatisfied with Wilson Management. The young man that managed our property was unprofessional and at times downright dishonest. The few times we needed him, it would take many calls over several weeks (or in one instance months) to get a response and on several occasions we had to contact the owner before the matter was handled. He would make excuse after excuse for not following. We even sent several emails to the company president, but never got a response. We did get most of our security deposit back after contacting the owner directly. Wilson's tried to blame us for negligence that was theirs, and lucky for us, the owner knew better. I would definitely not recommend renting from these guys or having them manage your property. I know the owner of the house we rented was very dissatisfied. more

If only i can rate this at ZERO stars not even a 1/2 start is worth putting for these THIEVES !!!!!! Avoid anything to do with this company , all they want is your MONEY ...we always pay rent on time never late make the house as if its our own and when you call them for something they never pick up EVER .. i even had to drive a hour to there office to get things done and what did i get sorry we dont see people that walk in you must make and appointment ...and they had the nerve not to see me.. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT trust this company. more

bunch of crooks 4/2/2011

my roommates and i were stuck looking for a house to rent just weeks before school started so we didnt really care who we rented with at the time. Had no problems with the company except for their application fees, any cosinger has to also pay an application fee. We moved out leaving the place spotless yet were charged almost $800 in bs fees. We were charged over $100 just for them replacing a few light bulbs. Almost $200 to mow the lawn once even though i mowed it the day we moved out, Avoid this company at all costs and if your already renting from them dont expect your sercurity deposit back. more

Have been renting from them for the past three years. No problems from them at all. No problems with the home other than the normal routine maintenance. Any problems have been quickly resolved. I would and do recommend them. more

Amy Benson is my contact person for the property that I am renting, and I have had great customer service from her since day 1.\r The application process went very smooth. I filled out a $40 application fee and heard back within the week that I was approved (pretty reasonable). \r Since October of 2009 I have had regular maintenance issues on a building that is more than 30 years old (old historic are of thornton park). One major one was when the dishwasher went out. They contacted the landlord and he agreed to replace it with a new one. The whole process took less than 7 days. Pretty good in my book.\r Also, the hose on the toilet sprung loose recently, dumping a few gallons of water onto the bathroom floor. Not only did Amy return my call within 10 minutes at 8pm, but a service man was out THE SAME HOUR to replace the hose.\r \r I think the landlord has a lot to do with the service level, and I apparently have a pretty cool one. But as for Wilson Management, Amy Benson has certainly been a pleasure to work with.\r \r 2 thumbs up in my opinion more

Renter's Beware: Company Profits off Application Fees 6/18/2010

Be extremely careful of this company. This company will take your 40 dollar application fee for every person who will live in the rental. I had excellent credit score and provable income, but company still has declined my application. It took about 15 days to get back an answer from the company; and this was through diligent efforts from calling them and emailing them. What I assume happened is that they later found a better offer from another renter; and simply decided to decline my application. Just be extremely careful of this company. I figure they make a pretty sizable income from simply collecting and rejecting application fees from renters. Cons: Company profits off application fees more

Worst Property Management Group In Orlando!!! 9/5/2006

I have been living in a home rented by Wilson Management Group for 3 years. In that 3 years our air conditioning has broken continuously, and we have time and time again called to have it fixed. They gave us unprofessional customer service and took three years to finally get part (only part) of the unit fixed. The unit for our house is the original unit from 1982. They FINALLY replaced the interior unit a couple weeks ago after we called a lawyer and guess what? There's a leak in the unit and we're stuck without air conditioning again. I would never recommend this company to anyone! Save yourselves the headache and look elsewhere!!! Pros: None. Cons: Horrible Customer ServiceOur Property Manager never returned calls until countless were leftFor the last two years we've been waiting for them to get approval from the owner to replace the unit but he's been unreachable due to him being "out of town" more

Horrible Company 9/5/2006

My roommates have rented from this company for 3 years, and I have rented from them for two. We have always paid our rent on time and overall been great tenants! We have had a few problems come up over the years, such as tree limbs broken from the hurricanes of 03' that we had to pay for and Wilson would not reimburse us. Also, our air conditioning unit would die about once every month. The company that came to repair it recommended that we get a new unit in 04' but Wilson said that they had to check with the owner of the home first (which makes since) and that he was on vacation. Well, a year went by with our air conditioning unit breaking once a month on cue and having to endure the heat for a few days before they could send someone to come fix it. We asked about the new unit and Wilson informed us the unfortunatley our owner was still on vacation! Seriously, who takes a year vacation?? We are terminating our lease this month, and of course, like always, the air went out. I called Wilson to have them come fix it and there response was, ""Well, aren't you guys moving out on the 30th?"" !!!???!!! Are you serious??? They expected us to just endure a month without air cause we were moving soon??? They ended up folding and sending someone out, but as always, they couldn't fix it the first day....so still no air. When I complained to Vice President of Wilson about our circumstances he hung up on me! They are a horrible company that is only good at taking your money...if you decide to rent through them you better pray that you don't have a problem with your house, because you will just have to live with it! more
