Consider a professional education from an accreditted school before getting your training at this location, conveniently located next to a liquor store.

This School is a joke 1/8/2018

Use your money somewhere else. There are all these neggative reviews for a reason. Debbie is a joke and will happily take your thousands of dollars just to give you a "certificate" that you dont even need to work in the state of oregon. I verified with the department of education that her school is not even accredited... All she will do is talk about her boring life during class and make everything about her class. i went to her school and just sat there doing minimal work and "passed with flying colors". No real professinal thinks her school is authentic and I came to the same conclusion after taking her course. Plus, once she gets your money and you "graduate" then you'll never hear from her again when you need to contact her or need her as a reference. BEWARE! Go pay for a real school and get some real training so that you dont have to pay for the consequences later. You get what you pay for. more

Wonderful Experience! I have a new, highly sought out skill thanks to WCP! 7/17/2015

I just finished this course as of 7-15-15 and my final thoughts are that I am extremely sad that it's over so soon! In six weeks I not only learned the valuable skill of blood drawing but I was finally able to get back into the health care field doing something I really enjoy doing, which is helping people and providing such a skilled service. Debbie Reasoner has a true gift for teaching and I was thoroughly impressed by her caring nature and patience. The fact that she spends one-on-one time with each pair of students per blood draws made even the most needle-phobic (MYSELF!) people comfortable and even wanting more draw time is commendable. She made a big impact upon myself and everyone from the June-July of 2015 class with her integrity, encouragement, passions for teaching as well as for the art of phlebotomy, and most importantly, her ability to smile and laugh even when things weren't going so well for her personally which never influenced her teaching obligations to our class. It was a little unnerving reading reviews about this class before checking it out as there are some pretty nasty ones out there so I made sure to check out the classroom as well as ask Debbie about why certain reviews were that way in the interview. Yes, in nine+ years of teaching receiving less than 10 negative reviews is OK though I made it a point after the class was done to give Debbie's class a very positive review as to shine some light on how awesome this class is. It is true, some people out there will always find negative things to talk about though Debbie continually challenged these negative reviews with her integrity to always do a good job, positivism, thorough phlebotomy knowledge and being a kick-ass teacher and person all around. It was awesome knowing that she is on the advisory board for phlebotomy education as well as a go-to gal if there is ever a legal case with phlebotomists so we all felt she is and was extremely qualified to teach us, and teach us she did :) more

I attended this Inc. thinking it would be the best. I was disappointed in the amount of time focusing On the instructor, Debbie's personal life, opinions On everything and constant bragging if her school. I wasted time and money by not looking else where Like a community college. Yes- I passed and Scored nicely on the nationals test, but I studied a lot Outside of school. I learned 30 percent about phrlbotomy And 70 about Debbie's family, grandson, divorse, health, And all about how she's "the best" I didn't pay 2600 To learn that. Lab was a joke. Presentations of How long if a medical word you can come up with Had nothing to do with the test. You will have to Pay lots if extra fees that weren't covered with The payment on the class, like tests, CPR, a study class, Etc. I'd get more out of a community college. My thoughts Lots of the class were scared of her, to voice an Opinion or question her. Nice being intimidating when You are having to pay for it. I have told everyone Who wants to pursue this school, DON'T waste YOUR Money. more
