I have an account with Wachovia, and I have no problem with them. I would say all banks are the same but i think that Wachovia go out of the way for your happiness.

Are you kidding me? Wachovia is the most predatory bank I could imagine. They have not only refused to honor my request for the opt-out of the so-called "convenience" of charging me a $35 fee for a cup of coffee, but they have been extremely rude and unhelpful in clearing up their mistake! They charged me $1600 worth of overdraft fees in less than 2wks while they had told me I was protected from this. DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY INTO THIS BANK IF YOU VALUE INTEGRITY, CUSTOMER SERVICE, OR FAIR BUSINESS PRACTICE. THEY ARE LIARS AND CHEATS. you can not beat Wachovia's free checking. They offer free checking to everyone regardless of direct deposit like other banks. No min. balance is required either. Staff is all friendly and will help you in anyway they can. You got to love the free visa check card too, it is good anywhere visa is accepted and that comes right out of your checking account. more

Wachovia Bank 4/23/2005

Wachovia is a large bank, with a way that it runs small. It is a good bank, but you are better off going to the credit union. It is usually very friendly and easily works with business people. more
