I am a very thorough person when making purchases, especially one as important as an engagement ring. I shopped around, and did not just buy a ring at the first store I looked at. My fiance lives in a different state, so I was responsible for not only finding a ring I loved but making sure I was getting quality for what I was paying for as well. Justin at Wedding Day made the experience doable! He was very patient, helped me figure out what I did and didn't like, and didn't pressure me at all. He was sincere about wanting to help me, educate me, and make the decision as easy as possible. Service is very important to me, and it's why I ended up choosing Wedding Day. Initially, I didn't find a ring I liked there, so I went back to Shane Co to pick out a diamond to go with the ring I liked. I asked a lot of questions, based on the information Justin told me when I was shopping at wedding day. The saleswoman at Shane Co brushed over my questions, never really giving me a clear answer. She basically told me the answers to my questions were not important. I did not want to have the wool pulled over my eyes when buying a diamond, so I went back to Wedding Day. I resolved to find something I liked there because I knew Justin and the staff would not rip me off. He gave me a ton of great information about diamonds, which helped me to figure out what I wanted. I felt like my friend, not a salesman, was helping me choose an engagement ring. I really felt like he had my best interests in mind. Also, they gave me the in-store display ring to take with me when I went that weekend to see my fiance, since the ring that I ordered would not be ready yet. While my ring was being made, they also had the diamond set in a TIffany Solitare ring that they gave me to wear until my ring was ready. Overall, I am so pleased with my ring. The style of it fits my personality perfectly. And the incredible service made my experience so much more enjoyable! I will recommend Justin and Wedding Day to anyone in the market for jewelry! more

My fiance and I recently shopped several jewelry and diamond stores for my engangement ring. We started with mall stores and the Shane Co. and then decided to visit Wedding Day. We worked with a woman named Marie. Right away she was asking about me, about us, about how we met. She seemed genuinely interested in me and even let me tell my entire story about how he proposed! There was no pressure from her whatsoever and she was very patient. I had no idea really what I wanted in a ring and I was so happy that Marie took the time to answer all of my questions without rushing me into anything. When we left, my fiance and I talked about it and couldn't help but share how wonderful it was in comparison to the other stores we had shopped. I'm the type of person in which I have to do extensive research before I buy anything and I'm a bit of a perfectionist. Thinking about picking out an engagement ring was somewhat terrifying for me because it was such a big purchase for my fiance and I knew that I was going to wear that ring for the rest of my life; I knew I had to find something that was absolutely perfect. I don't normally wear rings and this added to my anxiousness of finding ""the one"". As soon as I walked into Wedding Day I was put at ease by Shauna. I explained to her what I was envisioning in my head and she started pulling rings that fit my criteria. She was extremely patience with the many rings I tried on and if I didn't like certain aspects of the ring she explained the custom options to make the ring how I wanted it. Her expertise in matching a ring with the person is phenomenal. The second ring that she showed me was ""the one"". I thought for sure that I was going to be in the store for hours due to my picky nature, but she had helped me picked out the perfect ring in less than a half hour. \r I ""needed"" a new wedding ring and Erin at WDD took on my challenge and guided me through the process. \r \r My husband and I have been married for 28 years. Last summer, we lost three of our parents and I inherited quite a few diamonds. I was actually quite mercenary in my approoach as I do not have limited funds. I gathered every piece of broken jewelry, belt buckles, serving sets, etc. that I could find in the various households. Somewhat embarassed, I took it all into Erin and told her I did not know gold and silver from aluminum foil! She was so patient with me and tested every piece. The ones that passed were sold to WDD and the money placed into an account at the store.\r \r We then began looking at the rings I wanted to convert and toyed with some designs. WDD uses a design house in NYC for their custom work. Exploring their website provided me with more ideas. Erin suggested an appraiser to catalog my diamonds before we shipped them to the NYC designer. The design house took my three favorite designs and the ideas I wanted to use in combining them. A wax mold was created and sent to WDD. I was able to see exactly how the ring would look and where each diamond would be placed. \r \r I said ""yes"" to their proposal and very quickly, I had my ring. The appraiser did a beautiful job detailing how the diamonds worked with each other regarding clarity and quality. Erin explained so many things--platinum vs. palladium, diamond mounting, ring structure and fit, accomodations for arthritis. It was a five-month project because I am often out-of-town and needed to make return trips to the store for information and viewings. But, Erin was so kind and just as excited as I was. Everyone worked together to bring the ring in under budget! \r \r I now wear a stunning band designed to look like a garden, using round stones for buds and marquise stones for leaves, with delicate swirls connecting them. It contains my original wedding diamonds from my husband, along with my mother's, grandmother's, and father-in-law's diamonds. I am not a new bride, but I feel renewed and blessed to have ventured into Wedding Day Diamonds to present my dreams and questions to Erin. more

I worked with Erin at Wedding Day. She really went above and beyond to ensure that Wedding day was the right choice! The warranty played a big part in my choice of not missing the 6 month window to only find out something was wrong ect and it won?t be covered since i was past the 6 months. more

I was in the market to find an engagement ring for awhile, so I'd seen the good, the bad, and the ugly by the time I stopped in at Wedding Day. Looking back it was a joke... After casually looking for two years I had never had someone explain diamonds to me the way Wedding Day did. With time I also found it's a common theme amongst jewelers to find out how much you want to spend followed by trying to push you above you're prince range. Let's just say Natialie and Erin at Wedding Day not only found the perfect ring but made this on of the best experience of both my fianc?e and I's lives. From my perspective things were perfect. They kept things in the price range I had asked, didn't put me down by pushing more expensive rings/diamonds in my face than what I could afford, and not only found a ""one of a kind"" diamond but had it delivered to the store within an hour so the misses could see it herself. It was truly a great experience to say the least... When it came to the actual purchase they helped me with the loan and also were extremely patient with me while working out a bump in the road on my Credit Card. By the time I left I was 100% happy with my purchase and really understood the value of what I was buying. You can trust the people at Wedding Day and it's comforting to know when I go back great help will be there. Even with all of these great things said the treatment towards my gf at the time was what really made things special. I watched Natalie and Erin patiently work with my fianc?e to find the ""one"" while getting to know her on a personal level. I have never been shopping for a piece of jewelery that we be as important as my future husbands wedding ring.\r \r They made the whole experince fantastic and very easy. Everyone was so knowledgable. We had a girl named Emily help us out the day we went in there. She was very friendly and personable. The person that my fiancee and I worked with was very sociable. Sometimes we would stay for several hours just talking! Very friendly staff, very knowledgable and very helpful. The rings are extremely customizable, reasonably priced and the lifetime warranty DOESN'T require that you get the ring checked every six months to maintain the warranty validity. We had been to several diamond stores, but never fell love with any of the rings or staff. When we first walked into the Eden Prarie Wedding day we were greeted by Erin. After a few minutes we knew we would love this store. After our 2 hour visit we walked away without buying but knew we would be back. My Fiance didn't want to buy the ring while I was there. Erin moved to the Bloomington location and we have been going there ever since. We love the staff they are very welcoming and helpful. We were very happy with Wedding day as they are very personal and they stay in the price range you want. They help you decide on a ring and don't let you get so overwhlemed. Erin, the Store Manager, first helped us when she was just a Sales Associate at the Eden Prairie location. Before going to WDD we had shopped at many of the big name jewelery stores and after spending 5 min with Erin we quickly realized that WDD is on a completely different level of customer service. The first thing that Erin asked us was what price range we wanted to stay in, so that she did not show us something that was outside of our price range. This really impressed me because many jewelers show you styles that are outside of what you want to spend. Erin promised us that she would keep us in that price range and did exactly that, until I decided to buy a way bigger diamond than we had ever talked about :-) We were so impressed with Erin that even though we live 5 miles from the Maple Grove WDD we drive almost 30 miles to the Bloomington location just so we can work with Erin. WDD has turned me into a lifetime customer and we cannot wait to celebrate our first milestone anniversary and buy a new ring from WDD. I see that one person has trashed their perfect 5 star streak and I have to say that I believe in fair reviews and voicing your opinion, but when you see 15-5 Star reviews and only 1 negative review you need to take the 1 negative review as a person looking for attention. Please give this staff a fair chance before you write them off, because they will blow you away! more

I worked with Natalie at Wedding Day in Bloomington on a variety of jewelry needs. She is just an awesome salesperson. Customer service is her forte. Not only does she have a great knowledge of jewelry and precious stones, she really understands the emotional nature of jewelry purchases. Let's admit it, jewelry can be a significant purchase, monetarily and emotionally. Natalie really made sure she understood my objectives in getting precisely the right diamond and setting. She really got to know me as a person so that she could find the best items for me. A wedding ring and diamond purchase led to several more ring purchases. She helped me with the restoration of several vintage rings I had inherited, and now is helping me with the purchase of a birthstone. The long and short of it is that Natalie's focus was not on making a sale, it was on helping me find just exactly the right item that would make me the most happy!!!
