Walser Toyota of Bloomington

This was the worst car buying experience ever!!! The ""salesman"" was no sales person at all. Never looked me in the eye ; didn't offer water/coffee; didn't use my name (he did know it). I bought a brand new car. He did not explain a thing about my car, so when I got home I found it didn't have one of the features I needed. Brought it back within two days for the car I wanted. Still didn't explain a thing!!! Then he had the nerve to ask for a ""10"" rating when they send me a survey! I thought well, maybe he was new and I should be giving him the benefit of the doubt. However he has worked there two years! I am still struggling to figure out my bluetooth/radio etc, but refuse to step foot in the place except for service. (I've had ok luck there.) I think I'll go to a different dealer to get help! And from the sounds of it, I doubt they'll even call me about this review or when I answer the survey. more

1. Do NOT ever get your car serviced at Walser Toyota in Bloomington. EVER. I guarantee they will try to swindle you. I bought my 2010 Yaris from Walser Toyota in Bloomington and have had terrible experiences ever since. They try to convince you to get parts and services for your car that you don't need, and basically, try to swindle you. Last time I was at their dealership, getting a basic check-up to maintain the warranty, they told me that my tires were so bad that I should buy new ones. Interestingly enough, they "happened" to be having a tire sale And sure enough, when I took my car to another mechanic for a second opinoin, I was told that the tires were perfectly fine. UNBELIEVABLE! This is just one example of how they will totally try to skrew you over. Then, when it came time for my 30,000 mile check-up, and I called them and asked how much it would be, and they quoted me at $400. Bear in mind that there's nothing wrong with my car, this is just a check-up, oil change and tire rotation. Luckily, I called a different dealership for a quote, Rudy Luther Toyota in Golden Valley and was quote $94 for the exact same service. That's a $300 dollar difference!!! Plus, not only that, but the mechanic at Rudy Luther saw that there were some parts I didn't need to replace, so he got me me out the door for $69! That's a $330 dollar difference!!!! DON"T EVER GO TO WALSER TOYOTA IN BLOOMINGTON TO GET YOUR CAR SERVICED. Ever. Ever. more

I purchased a used 4Runner from Walser Toyota in Bloomington, MN last week and couldn’t have had a better experience. My income is from a Native American tribe and wasn’t recognized as income from a few different big name auto dealers in the Minneapolis area. I called Walser on a Saturday afternoon and spoke to Steve Bradach. I explained to Steve the problems I was running into and that before I drove 100 plus miles to his dealership, I wanted to make sure they would recognize my income as a salary. Steve went out of his way while I was on the line to go to the top person in his Finance department to verify they wouldn’t have any issues. When I arrived at our appointment that following Monday, Steve set me up with his sales associate Tiffany Hinnenkamp. Both Steve and Tiffany were extremely pleasant, friendly, patient, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the purchase of the vehicle. They were always offering to answer questions and explained the process as we went along. My credit is considered poor and Steve was still able to get me approved within a very short time. Steve and Tiffany made this purchase seem effortless. I have purchased many cars and homes in the past but this experience was by far the easiest, fastest and most satisfying to date. They went above and beyond my expectations by far. I would recommend Walser Toyota, Steve and Tiffany to anyone interested in purchasing a new or used vehicle anytime in the future. more

We had a horrible experience purchasing our vehicle from Walser Toyota which has been compounded by an inadequate response and lack of follow through by the staff. It took 6 hours over 2 days to purchase the car. Including waiting for nearly an hour after we had set an appointment. We were lied to about the cost of the key fob. They failed to register the car with the DMV within the required time limit. To top it all off, their staff didn't care. Their response to my complaints about their service, being lied to, having my time wasted, and their lack of follow through was, "you can return the car." In short, it is clear that Walser Toyota has a different definition of “complete satisfaction” than we do. more

Just bought a new camry. Great dealership. Prices clearly marked. No pressure. Worked with Brownwyn Fitzgerald. Super nice lady. I only intended on buying a used camry. The pricing was excellent, and 0% financing led me to buy a new one. I haven't bought a new car in 21 years. I always buy 2-3 years old. But the new price was so low couldn't pass it up. Sure surprised my wife! My brother owned a car dealership many years ago, and until now, I hated to go to a car dealership. This was no haggle, no commission, no pressure, prices clearly marked so you can walk around and look at a ton of nice cars for easy comparison. I am impressed with Walser and Bronwyn Fitzgerald more

We were in an accident a week ago and our car was totaled. After this crazy event, we needed to get another car, but were not looking forward to "getting sold"...dealing with salesman...etc. We chose to look at Walser Toyota in Bloomington because a friend recommended them. I gave Sam a call and he was available to meet us at our convenience. We met on Saturday and both Sam and his team gave us excellent customer service, great information, and no pressure at all. We were able to make the right decision for US and they supported our decision. We are now proud owners of a 2011 Prius and got everything we wanted plus more! Thank you Sam and Toulong for making a stressful situation into a positive experience! :) more

My husband and I finally needed a new car and we knew we wanted another mid-sized SUV. We were considering the Highlander, Acadia and CX-9. After driving the Highlander, my husband and I both fell in love. Our salesperson, Greg Elfstrum was able to find us a model that suited all of our needs while still fitting into our budget. Greg was great to work with, with a no pressure attitude and he said several times, "I just want you to get the car you want and the price you want." We'll need another new car in a year or so and will definitely be calling Greg again. And after our most recent snow storm in Minneapolis, we love the Highlander even more. more

Just leased a 2010 Corolla this weekend and traded in my 99 Rav4. Spike, Larry, and the rest of the crew gave me an amazing experience the entire time I was there. I was so worried I would have a freakout moment and not be able to give up my Rav since I had it for so many years, but they made the entire experience so exciting, relaxing, and very fun. Everything was "grooooooovy"! Thanks, Spike, Larry and Walser Toyota. I love my new cute Corolla. I will go tell my Toyota Story on Facebook too so be looking for it. :) more
