Verve Wellness Center was recommended to me by a family member who had been seeing Dr. Warkentin and couldn't stop talking about how awesome this clinic was. I decided I would see if they could help me with my migranes. Not only am I having fewer migranes than I was before, but my TMJ is feeling better after seeing the dentist as well as Dr. Warkentin. And the clinic itself is everything you wish a medical facility could be. When you walk in the doors, there is music playing, flowers on the front counter as well as fresh apples and oranges. There is also a beverage station with tea forte and Starbuck's coffee as well as cookies. The clinic is beautifully maintained and the staff are the friendliest and most helpful I have ever delt with. The doctors are knowledable and caring. The best part is that so many medical entities are under one roof. Not only is chiropractic care available, you will find a general practitioner, dentist, physical therapy rehab as well as massage therapy. Verve Wellness is truely a remarkable place and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch docs and staff with a spa-like atmosphere. more

Verve Wellness is simply amazing. Great staff, amazing building, the cutest dog around (Gracie rules), and easily the nicest and most professional doctors I've ever met. Back when I was a younger man I was heavily involved in lifting weight, and in my prime I was squatting 450 lbs at max and repping around 375. Well, to accomplish this caused significant strain on my lower back and knees, and Dr. Warkentin and his staff have me feeling better than I ever have. I owe them a lot. Thanks, Dr. Wonderful. more

I LOVE Verve Wellness Center!!! The facility is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are amazing. The atmosphere when you first walk in is nothing like what you would expect from any medical facility. There was music and coffee and fresh fruit, as well as friendly people who made me feel at home immediately. Service was prompt and they made it seem relaxing and fun. I have seen Dr. Warkentin and his clinic grow leaps and bounds over the past 6 years and couldn't be more proud to be part of something and someone with such extraordinary vision. His newest clinic is truly gorgeous. It is soothing and calming the minute that you walk through the doors into the opulant reception. The staf make you feel at ease and as if you have known them for years. The wait is never long and even if you are driving by and need to get in, they always fit you into their busy schedule with a smile. I have found the doctor that I will saty with the rest of my life. he has since brought on other associate doctors and added dental, medical and rehab. I was visiting from Atlanta when my low back started acting up. I looked online for doctors in the mesa area and Verve Chiropractic had several good reviews, so I called to schedule an appointment. They got me in the next morning and I can honestly say that I was alittle more than impressed with the level of professionalism. I was used to my chiropractor in in North Atlanta in a small clinic with one girl to help him. This office had 5 girls at the reception alone. I got to see Dr. Warkentin and he had a tech take some digital x-rays and even gave me a copy on CD to take bacj to Georgia so that my doctor would have an updated look along with a report. I was there for an hour the first time and had 3 follow up visits before I came back home to Atlanta. The doctor got me feeling much better and his staff were all very kind. I am coming back for the month of November and plan on seeing the dentist there as well. Great clinic that you won't be dissapointed with. I have been bronco busting since I was 12 years old. i am now 32 and have had my share of falls and bumps, not to mention fractures and cuts. My girlfriend had been seeing Dr. Dave for several months and felt better, so she encouraged me to finally get in after a very bad fall of a bronco. I had been suffering with sciatica for 3 weeks and had a shot for it, but it didn't work, so I finally made my appointment. Dr. Dave was very thorough explaining my x-rays and physical exam results. He decided that my best bet would be to decompress my spine a couple of times a week followed with cold laser treatments and a spinal manipulation. Within 2 weeks I was nearly back to normal. No more shots and 2 more weeks the pain was gone. I have since gone in for follow up care to make sure I strengthen my low back appropriately. i am back to bronco busting and thank my wife for referring me and Dr. Dave for fixing me. Verve Wellness Center is truely amazing. All of your medical needs are under one roof. I have seen the chiropractors as well as the dentist and the massage therapists. Usually when you think of going to your doctor, you think of a single doc practice ith a crowded waiting room and long waits. Well, this is not the case here. There seems to be an endless staff to accomodate all of your needs when you walk in and during your visit. There are several doctos working together in different fields. The atmosphere is relaxing and the doctors are sharp and efficient. The feeling you get is something like being at home in a comfortable place. No one is pretentious even though the clinic is looks like and is outfitted like a 5 star resort. The doctors have excellent bedside manner and really take the time with the patients, ""like the old days"". I am so happy that I found them. more

I came to see the doctors at Verve about a month ago for problems with my neck and jaw. I felt better soon after my treatments began. Dr. Warkentin explained that part of my headaches came from my jaw being misaligned and that my bite might be off. He referred me to the dentist in his office and I was examined by him the following saturday. It turned out my bite was in fact off. My molars on one side were higher than the other and Dr. Coplin fixed it, in about 10 minutes and with no pain. Between the chiropractors and the dentists, I am feeling much better. The neck pain and headaches are now very few and far between. I have now made an appointment to change my primary care to their family medical office. This clinic is really one of a kind. more

I have seen my sports doc for seveeral months for an injury to my shoulder after being pushed hard playing full contact football. I had been told that I had a torn labrum and was told to see a physical therapist 3 times a week by my doctor. It had been several weeks and I started feeling worse. I drove by Verve Wellness everyday and decided to google them. After reading their reviews, I decided to make an appointment for a second opinion. They examined the area and took x-rays and requested a copy of my mri from my doctors office. The doctor told me that the shoulder was in fact pushed slightly out of the socket and that the mri was in fact negative for a torn labrum and that there was simply swelling of the bursa. He adjusted my shoulder and gave me cold laser therapy and withing 4 visits, I am back to playing football with absolutely NO PAIN. Dr. Warkentin also gave me some strengthening exercises to do for the shoulder because he said that it had already been injured and because of the nature of the injury that if I didn't strengthen it, I could have problems down the road. This clinic definately knows what they are doing and talking about. Above all, I had phenomenol results ina very short period of time. Pros: great therapies! Cons: waited to long to get there. more

I first saw Dr. Warkentin nearly a year ago after a pretty bad shoulder injury. He took time to really explaqin the type of injury that I had and referred me for further testing. When the results were in it was determined that I see an orthopedic surgeon. He not only referred me to someone he trusted, but personally took the time to call the doctor and set up the appointment. The surgeon told me that I was going to need to have surgery for a torn rotator cuff. About a week later I was scheduled. I thought that this is where my relationship with Dr. Warkentin would end, however, with my consent he sat in the surgery not only because he knew that I trusted him and it would make me feel more comfortable seeing a familiar face during a trying time but as the surgeon told me to improve his knowledge of what he referred his patients for on occasion. My surgeon had told me that it was not unusual for Dr. Warkentin to request to be there during patient surgeries and according to my surgeon that Dr. Warkentin in his opinion was one of the finer chiropractors in the state when it came to knowledge and concern for his patients well being. Soon after the surgery I was finished my physical therapy and I resumed care with Verve Chiropractic. he used a cold laser and went through stretching with me as well as adjusting my spine and eventually the shoulder. I was and am very impressed with this fine physician and his genuine caring for my well being. I have now seen him grow into a larger clinic and it shows again in the details of his new clinic that he cares about not only his patients comfort but also his ever growing staffs. I have seen many doctors join his clinic in the past several months and many more want to join him. Thank you Dr. Warkentin and staff for really making me feel like part of your ever growing family. I am a healthcare professional that stopped by Verve Wellness to speak to the doctors about my new office in the area. I was thoroughly impressed by what they have created here. This truly is an awe inspiring clinic with everything. Seeing the vision that the clinic director has left me speechless. The detail at Verve is inpressive, and obviously well thought out. The medical equipment here is equally impressive. I don't usually post anything on the internet, however, this office definately deserves accolades from their collegues and neighbours. more

I had heard of this place called Verve. But, I never really believed what people said until I experienced it myself. This clinic is definately setting the gold standard in Arizona and accross the country. From the moment you walk in you feel like you are instantaly transported to another.........something I can't put my finger on. The soothing music, the fresh coffe and tea area. Fresh fruits and a massive water. The reception is finished in modern italian leather furniture and calming lighting. The doctors are exceptional and the staff friendly and all dressed the in the same scrubs. The treatment rooms all have ipod stations so thatthe patients can change the music. There seems to be a sea of plasma tv's throughout the office and the x-ray room looks like something you would see at the Mayo Clinic. I have seen and been to a lot of healthcare facilities in my life and not a single one could hold a candle to this place. If you truly want to feel well with a group of doctors who clearly care about your well being, then this is the place to go. Pros: breath taking office more

I am an ER physician at a local area hospital who always had an opinion of chiropractic physicians. The opinions that I had were obviously malfounded. After slipping at the hospital, a nurse told me that I consider seeing Dr. Warkentin. After 4 days of pain I reluctantly made an appointment. I was impressed with the doctors knowledge and his genuine concern for what was causing me the pain. Like at the hospital, he sent me to his in house radiology and had a rad tech shoot my x-rays. In fact, the rad tech also worked at the same hospital that I do. All said, within an hour, I had an answer to why I had the pain that I did and was prescribed a conservative treatment pllan. It has ben a few weeks and I am 100% improved. I have since talked to our administrator at my work to consider Dr. Warkentin as a consulting physician to our pain management dept. My views have definately changed from a point of listening to all of the critics to forming my own opinion. Pros: very accomodating to peoples schedules more

I saw Dr. Warkentin for the first time this week. Like the rest of these posts, I agree that his knowledge and caring are abundantly apparent. He really cares about the patients he sees and it shows and reflects in his extra ordinary office. I had lost hope for ""curing"" my severe migraines. He sent me for an mri and it showed that I had a badly damaged ligament in my neck from a prior car accident in 1997. He used a cold laser on my neck and also manipulated my spine. A scary sound but man did it feel good. The releif was literally instant. I have since had my daughter see him as well. We are both very happy with the care we have received at his clinic. I have been a firefighter with the cityof Mesa for 15 years and have had my share of bumps and scrapes over the years. I hurt my back on a fire about 3 years ago and went to our ""oc Health"". To no surprise they simply gave me meds and therapy. It wasn't until 2 and a half years later and still in pain that another firefighter turned me on to Dr. Dave. I have been a patient of his now for 6 months and feel better than I did before the accident. He took time to go over everything with me, never rushed me and even has spent over 30 minutes massaging and stretching my spine until it ""released"". More impressive is that when I have had problems during my shift he selflessly comes into the station and takes care of me the best he can. I work in Mesa with a very physical job. For months my back has killing me. My friends where I work told me to Verve and see Dr. Warkentin. I let it linger for a few months until one morning when I couldn't move. I made an appointment. After an hour or so, Dr. Warkentin went over my exam and x-rays. He determined that the injury he suspected would not show on an x-ray. he referred me within an hour for an MRI and a couple of hours later I was back at his office. He already had the report and was correct in suspecting a disc problem. He put me on a table that stretches your spine and it was the first releif that I had received in quite some time. It has been about 4 weeks now and my back feels like there is actually hope. I feel 80% better with the occasional twinge. He told me that I would gave a little aches and pains along the way, but overall I should see a steady line of getting better. His clinic is all they say it is. Friendly, caring, compassionate and above all extremely effeicient and organized at getting things done. He obviously has a great cirle of professionals that he works with. My journey began 12 years ago after a rock climbing accident. I suffered a severe concussion and was in the hospital for 4 weks following surgery to my head and a shunt. I was told that my life would be limited and that the headaches I suffered with since that day would be something that I would have to live with.......That was until a co-worker of mine at the hspital told me about her chiropractor. Dr. David Warkentin. I had heard his name spoken around the hospital for quite sometime. A collegue of mine suggested that I simply go out for a fresh opinion. I went to Verve Wellness center the following week. After an extensive exam and x-rays put on disc for me, I was adjusted. It was determined by Dr. Warkentin that I had a severe rotation of my second cervical vertebrae. According to the doctor it was this causing the severe headaches. I got onto a regimen with the clinic and after a few weeks I was sleeping better. It has now been 11 weeks and I have had 1 very mild headache. Down from having one daily and severe. This doctor needs desperately to talk to th pain doctors at my work over at Banner to explain how simple it was to correct something that several physicians and 2 surgeries coud not fix. i am very indebted to this doctor and am so pleased with his caring bedside manner and demeanor. He seemed genuinly concerned about me. He even called our house over the weekend to check up on me. What doctor in todays day and age does that. Since then several more of my collegues including a few of the MD's have seen him for a variety of conditions. Dr. Warkentin, you are simply the best. Verve Wellness Center is, in short, amazing. The new office is great, and the staff at the front desk are simply amazing. The doctors are nothing short of wonderful, also. They really listen, and will go the extra mile to help you. And the office pooch, Gracie, is so adorable! I would highly recommend Verve to anyone for any problem. more
