Velvet Chair Salon

I was very disappointed with my experience with Velvet Chair Salon & Spa. The manicurist/pedicurist had no personality or experience. I though I bought a great deal on groupon, but I left the salon very disappointed. My pedicure and manicure did not look good at all. I was supposed to get a free bottle of nail polish... the options I were given were very few and several bottles were used. After my appointment, I immediately went to my regular pedicurist, where he fixed me up. RESPONSE FROM Velvet Chair Salon: We apologize for your experience within our Spa, keep in mind that this was a "Groupon" special that was ran by a technician that RENTED space in our spa and has no other affiliation with Velvet Chair. Bonita (with Beauty Muse esthetics) is no longer at the Velvet Chair due to her inability to provide quality service to her clients and her inappropriate way of handling her groupon customers. I would like to extend an offer to come in and try our signature pedicure with one of our experienced technicians, then, review us based on that experience. more

Oh my, I got a massage and a facial. They were both just great. Came in with a headache and left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated! All the staff was so nice and attentive. I chilled in the relaxing room and even fell asleep listening to the music and the water fountains. They gave me a robe and sleepers which were really cozy and helped feel relaxed immediately. I will definitely come back! more

We had a wonderful time at Velvet Chair Salon and Spa. My daughter and I felt very pampered and luxurious. We were really relaxed afterwards, and they were very professional. We both had a great time. I bought my daughter and myself the blue chair package, plus manicures and pedicures. It was a spa day. It included massages, facials, the aqua therapy bath, lunch, and then the manicures and pedicures. It was great, and the spa is a very beautiful place. We were there from 9:30 in the morning until 3:10, so it was a long day. We had some wait time, but we didn't feel rushed. I would recommend customers to bring their own makeup. Though when we walked out we felt wonderful and relaxed, we looked bad. With the hot bath our hairstyles were totally gone. Also, after the facial we had no makeup. We thought we would go shopping afterwards, but we looked so bad that we just went home. It would have been nice to have known that would happen before we went in. I have a strange hybrid grade of hair and no seems to know what to do with it but Mia. She tames it, cuts it just right and the always lasts. The shop is beautifully appointed and welcoming. I will never go anyplace else and the spa services are well above par. Monica more

I saw an ad for Velvet Chair Salon and Spa on the Internet and, when I called, they were very nice on the phone. I have used their service multiple times now for massage and waxing, and the results were exactly what I expected. Everything was done in a professional manner and they made me feel very comfortable. Mia is very nice, accommodating, and easy to work with. more

I first went to Velvet Chair Salon and Spa because I received a gift certificate from a friend. The service was so good that I stayed with them and have been a customer for about a year and a half now, maybe more. Velvet Chair always provides friendly and efficient service. I go there to get waxed and they are available when I need them. They are professional and the prices are reasonable. The owner, Mia, is always making improvements and looking for ways to better the business. more
