Loved The Soup! 12/10/2008

I have eaten at this resturant twice. Most recently I ordered the special and a bowl of butternut squash soup. It was the best. The service was superb and the owner came by to make sure everything was as it should be. I will be back to try other items on the menu. more

BEST COFFEE IN DOWNTOWN MESA 12/10/2008

I didn't even know this place was open! Now I keep coming back. New ownership has the place cleaned up and turned around. Crisp, buttery waffles. Extensive list of omelets. Best bacon around. Lunches are great too. This is great, relaxed dining with exceptional service. I can't wait until they're open for dinner! Pros: Coffee, Bacon, Service, everything is always served HOT! The place is worth the trip! 12/10/2008

Great food and priced right. Breakfast options are plentiful. The breakfast combos are huge, tasty and filling. I always leave the place full and happy. Lunch is even better. One of the best meals I had there was the rib specials. The BBQ sauce was awesome. The meat was plentiful on the ribs and the portions huge. I got more for the price at the Valley Eatery than the big chains; definitely go back for that one, again. In addition to the food, the owner does a great job of making you feel welcomed. It adds to the great atmosphere and is worth the trip. The staff members are also courteous and the facilities are clean and kept up. Pros: Food, food, food and staff! Cons: None. more

Best Home Cooking in Mesa! 12/9/2008

Excellent Family Style food! Best Beef Stew I've had in years. Tasty sandwiches....ask for the Blue Cheese Cole Slaw. Very clean restaurant with relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The service was excellent. Very friendly and courteous. I'm a regular now! Pros: Great Food & Service and attention to detail Cons: Breakfast Menu is a bit too extensive. No beer for lunch. more
