Doing a good job 4/28/2013

I've dealt with Urban Enterprises for a couple of years now and they've been pretty good. There's always someone answering the phone (a step up from some management companies) and they have a team of people available to fix things. There's only so much they can do if a property is not maintained well, but the owner needs to pay attention to that more than the management company. \r \r I read a previous review where the tenant had a fit because they rented a crummy property and had to learn to light a pilot light. \r Blaming the management for a low-end property (and faulty water heater) is moronic. Those are owners' responsibilities. If the tenant didn't like it, they should have rented elsewhere. more

SLUMLORDS Urban Enterprise! 2/1/2011

MY RATING IS 0!!!! NEVER RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! They are truly slumlords! They place was nasty when I moved in and I took pictures. The place was cleaner when I moved out then it was when I moved in and Candance ( one of the owners) still refused to give us our deposit back. 7 months after moving from this place I still have issues with them! She sent only 1 renters rebate form and wrote that only 1 person lived there, when she knew that there were 2 people living there. Two people signed the lease! \r Our water heater would go out at least twice a month and when we called to have it repaired we would have to wait days to get it fixed, and then it would go out again. It happened so often I learned how to light the pilot light. Candance and Bretta will smile in your face and then wont return phone calls and when they do they are super rude! I had to wait days to have your basic needs met such as HOT WATER. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND URBAN ENTERPRISE TO ANYONE! I HAVE EVEN FILED A COMPLAI more
