USA Brake & Auto Repair

USA Brake & Auto Repair are the only competent, honest mechanics I have been able to find for my VW - and I have been to quite a few. I have to travel a long way to get to their shop, but in the end having repairs done correctly is well worth the extra time. USA was able to diagnose and fix problems that were worsened by faulty & very expensive repairs at other shops nearer to my home. They are such a positive contrast to my other repair shop experiences, that this is the first review I've ever written. I'm now thinking I may be able to actually keep my 11 year old VW, which before I used USA seemed impossible because of the frequent & expensive unresolved problems and faulty repairs. I think a lot of the problems with VW is not so much the cars, but the lack of competent places to have them serviced and repaired. USA is the best place I've found by a mile! more

On July 14, 2011, I went into USA Brake and Auto Repair for a runtime oil change. Mirkov discovered that my ""passenger side axle shaft seal leaks oil, and rack and pinion leaks power steering fluid."" He graciously told me about it and I told him I still have a warranty on the car. The next day I called the dealership and they will fix it under the warranty on Monday. Thank you USA Brake and Auto Repair for informing me on something that could have turned out really bad as I drive long distance. You guys are the most honest, respected, auto shop I know. I will continue to get my car work and oil change at USA Brake and Auto Repair and encourage all to do the same! Thank you! more

Went to USA Brake for oil change, took my oil and filter. Picked up vehicle, and mirka said it was a half quart of oil low, charged me $18 and didnt top off any other fluids, no inspections. Wife made it half way home and the car died and when she started it back up it was knocking really bad. I checked the oil when she got home and it is overfull. BBB has 3 complaints showing, I should have checked there first. I called Mirka and he said the car was fine when it left and the knock is just a coincedence. He said I could have it towed in to him using a tow company he knows and he could add that tow bill to the repair bill. This must be how he earns additional work. I am not stupid enough to go back, even if he did fix the car, it would probably come back with a bad transmission next. more
