US Elite Martial Arts & Fitness Center

No body knew what we were getting into when we started. There are other karate schools here in the area and they promise you the world. My grandson had been in a previous karate school 2 years prior. It was loud and wasn't given much assistance and left him on his own. He was intimidated, the instructors were not hands on and we didn't see any reason why to continue. There was nothing at all tied into there classes for building self esteem or confidence. All they offered was karate moves. Nothing they promised was achieved and his behavior was the same or worse. Their martail arts program follows through with their job lists, school teacher approval lists for graduations. We the adults are highly involved with their progress and assisting the children with everything that is required at US Elite. to achieve. This is a 2nd home that I wouldn't find anywhere else. more

The amount you spend on classes weighs very little to what you get. If you weighed out what they gain you can't compare it. It is an investment in them and it already showed up in my kids at home. more

We were in living in anxiety a year ago, I used to get a lot of phone calls at work from school all the time with my son. This summer was wonderful. I could literally go to work and not worry about being called or having to leave work. What a relief. After the summer was over I was like WOW I went through a whole summer without ONE phone call. The two following years I got calls all the time from his summer camp counselors and had to leave work and pick him up. For me as a single mom, I have to work, I have to bring in the income and at the same time I need a safe structured program for my son. The other summer camps were loose, you could wonder anywhere, he would come home without shoes, lose his belongings and was always in trouble. This summer was the best thing ever. It was worth 10x what the other camps were charging. I would like for him to attend all the Summer Camps. more

I am 53 years old and I came to US Elite after someone told me about it and I wanted to see what all the excitement was about. I signed up and very glad that I did. I wasn't in very good shape, I did the Recreation Center for a few months then I stopped. It's great to workout with everyone that has the same goals as me and I am happy about that. I started in the nutrition part of the Program to challenge myself with what I am eating, how I am eating and it has given me more energy and balance in my life. The nutrition meetings help keep you on track and motivated. more

Now I look forward to coming home from work. I get a hug from both my boys when I come home instead of a bunch of screaming and fighting. They show us their accomplishments in school, they are proud of their work Another thing is they have their school bags packed the night before, their karate bags are packed organized and ready for the next day. That has helped us all tremendously. They are doing their chores on their own, sometimes they will come out and show you they folded the towels or took out the trash. more

I have been in other karate programs throughout the years and I always felt like another number, a revenue source. That's how they treat us. But here at US Elite as soon as you walk in you meet thier Sensei who has the biggest smile in the world, then there's this whole positive reinforcement that happens over and over. The Senseis reinforces many success, relationship, leadership, and life-long-learning books that all the Leadership team has to read, and write reports on. At that point money is not an object. You get what you pay for. You get the Best here. more

Since starting here at US Elite my son doesn't argue as much anymore, he is much more positive and more than anything, I wanted him to prove to himself that he has what it takes to help other people and to show that he is somebody special and that he is worth something and that can be accomplished through the Leadership Program here. I don't think grade school really teaches you everything you need to know for life. They teach you math and science, but they don't teach you real life skills. I like how you give him the ideas of Look in the mirror every day and say ?I like myself,' or say ?I'm gonna do it,' or Yes I can!.' You reinforce that with him, and he doesn't get that at school. I see improvement in him, which he wouldn't get if he was in basketball. Basketball is a sport. US Elite is more of a life choice I would say. It's something that he can take throughout his whole life. more

I saw advertising in the paper and decided to call, I had some health issues that came up recently and I don't want to be this young and on medication for any length of time. I've been to several types of gyms and centers and I don't feel comfortable where everyone is already thin and saying they're fat when they really don't have an issue. When I came here I didn't feel any of that pressure like I felt at other places and that was a big plus for me truthfully. Within just a few weeks I have lost four inches off my waist and five pounds. It hasn't taken long at all to see results. That is important to see results to keep me going and I have more energy and have seen positive results with my asthma. more

Since starting the Kickboxing program I have lost more than 30 pounds and went from wearing a size 16 pants to a size 12. I was really excited then, but now I'm in a size 6. I feel amazing. I was a little nervous at first but have met some pretty nice people that are fun to workout with. more

My son is getting both the physical and the mental training at US Elite. Im excited because he now cleans at home and makes his bed. He congratulates the other kids if he doesnt win. His coordination is getting better and I see such great improvement each and every time he is here. My co-worker has a son in karate at another school in the area and he isnt getting the same thing out of it as I am at US Elite. My son is learning to use his words, building character, improve his behavior at home And I love how you incorporate parent involvement in class with the bully proofing and stranger?danger lessons. Its great to be part of this family here. more

Everyone is fun, everyone is encouraging. When its graduation time everyone cheers and makes you feel like a TEAM. It is the most fun you will ever have. Where else will you have people ages 14 70 yr old hitting bags and doing wacky jacks more

My husband and I workout at US Elite. I don't feel foolish or insecure when I workout in the class. I feel confident in the class. You work areas that women are typically shy about working out in a gym like the upper body and lower body. I feel more energy in the morning and I don't get that afternoon tiredness anymore. I feel more toned in the abs and I�‘m getting bi-ceps. I would recommend the kickboxing class. I know how women get intimidated at a gym because there are guys around, but this is a safe environment and it's really motivating. more

I have been taking the Kickboxing class here at US Elite. In only 2 months I have dropped 2 pant sizes. I'm taking classes twice a week. I feel awesome. I would recommend this to everyone because it's a whole lot better than going to a gym or running on a treadmill. At least here you have fun and meet new people more

I am a teacher and my husband and I were having some issues with our son's respect at home, listening to directions, and focus on the tasks at hand. So we decided to get him enrolled at US Elite. We noticed an immediate improvement right away. Within the first few days he was all of a sudden more respectful which we both really loved. WOW! Within 2 weeks we saw continued growth in how he responded to us. When asked to do something he very hardly will ask why or argue, he gets to it right away. Now he helps out around the house more, he is much kinder and loving than before he started here. In preschool he was very talkative, constantly distracting his teacher and always asking the teacher questions that he knew the answer to. He just likes to hear himself speak. Now he is age 5 in kindergarten and that is not happening at all. Yet he is participating and he has gained the confidence to raise his hand in class. It is really neat the changes he has made in just a few months. more

From what I've seen here since my kids started the karate program, this is more on the inside rather than just the physical outside. As a matter of fact, here I've been learning stuff just by watching it. And it's almost like when you know you can do it, you don't really have to do it, instead of when a person doesn't know how to fight and they feel like they've got to go and prove to a bunch of people that they got to kick somebody's butt because I'm really tough. Instead here I see that they're getting confidence, and they're learning so many outside things as far as taking care of themselves at home and then taking care of themselves at school, and how to have respect for other people and themselves. more
