The service is like clockwork, Trudy calls to advise the service is scheduled and it is always performed in a timely fashion. My lawn has only been treated for two going into the third year and it is noticeably in better condition, one of the nicest lawns in the neighborhood. I don't get to see the technician because I am at work but when I get home I see the flags on the lawn indicating the service has been performed, literature and a personalized report is left to advise what has been done and what is recommended. A true value for the money and my cost has not increased from season to season. more

Truly I can't say too much about your specialist because we only crossed each other once due to my work schedule but I appreciate the courtesy call before hand when the treatments will be done and the receipt left in mailbox when completed. My lawn is eradicated of weeds which was my prime objective and full green coloring is being restored. This being the first time using this service, I feel it was well worth it. more

Since I have been using TruGreen my lawn has look much healthier. I appreciate the comments the person leaves on the invoice if something needs to be done for the lawn. Like if the height of the grass is to short or high or how often to mow due to the summar conditions. I appreciate the notification of when they be working on the lawn. The only way I know they have been there is when I see the sign that states the lawn has been treated. I believe the amount I spend on the treatments for the lawn is reasonable as I don't have to buy and store all products for the lawn treatments that should be done. Also don't have to buy and store the equipment used to do the lawn treatments and it frees up my time to work on other things. more

Generally very pleased. I get a call prior to a service and they come out when they say. If I'm not happy with the application they will reapply. more

I have no suggestions. Your specialist is right on top of everything, they keep us informed of our lawn and shrubs condition and answer any question we may have. In short they do a great job more

I am satisfied with the level of service provided by TrueGreen. I would recommend the service to others..the price of the service, while not inexpensive, is reasonable. I like the idea that a service technician will respond to my request for an extra visit. more

Shawn, \r \r I have not chosen TruGreen, I have actually went with another company. The reason being that the representative that responded to me was very high pressure and almost insistent that he send someone out to do a treatment on my lawn the next day without anyone from your company to come and inspect what might potentially be lawn issues. I did not appreciate this high pressure sales (particularly from a call center apparently in Florida talking about a lawn in Pennsylvania). \r \r Further: \r • This representative lied to me by telling me that neighbors on either side of me were currently TruGreen clients and when I spoke to them the said they had never contracted with TruGreen (and had never intended to). What is the purpose of giving false references that could be so easily checked out. \r • The 855 number that the representative and you have given me does not work … every time I call it I get a recording saying that the call can’t be completed. \r • I therefore called the 727 number where I asked to speak to a manager. They transferred me to someone in the Malvern, PA office and when I told the woman who answered the phone that I would like to speak to a manager (actually asked her twice to talk to a manager) she said she was customer service and she would handle my call. \r • I explained the above story to her and she told me that she would have to give me a number so that I could call and talk to a manager for my complaint. I told her I didn’t want the number and that she should handle my complaint since that is what she said in the beginning. \r \r I should have read the reviews prior to contacting you more

I have been trying to call their local office for over 3 weeks trying to resolve a billing problem. I am a prepaid customer. I paid for the services up front for the entire season for both tree and lawn services. At the end of the season, I received a bill for outstanding balance for my tree service. The first time that happened, it took me 3 calls to get that straighten out . They didn't properly applied the right discounts. Recently, I got a bill for the outstanding balance for my lawn service. I tried to contact the local office for 3 weeks now. Not able to get anyone to picking up the call. I ended up calling their corporate office. All they did was taking down my contact information and promised to have the local office manager to call me back. Guess what, they never called. I called their corporate office 5 times -- same response and never got anywhere. Also, there is no escalation from their corporate. They can't even fix the bill even they saw all the records in the system. As far as I am concerned, I don't owe them anything due to their billing error. I also told them that I don't want to use their services any more for the up coming season. I had taken down the name of the person @ corporate and the ticket number for my request for cancellation. If they came out and performed any service next season, that is their problem. When they want to sell you add-ons, they don't seem to have problem finding someone to call me. But when we have issues to resolve, they are no where to be found. There are many others are happy to take my business. DON'T USE THEM. more

If you attempt to call the centralized customer service number you will get a busy signal, continuous ring with no answer, or continuous rings with an automatic hang up. If there were a no star rating, I would select it. This company sucks. more

It's disheartening to have to submit this review because working with this company can be characterized as truly ""nightmare-ish"". TruGreen Malvern is a slick operation, with very fancy mailers which promise a great deal, but deliver far, far less. I would greatly caution anyone who wants to use this service. I found them to be very friendly initially, but when I cancelled my account, they continued to come, claiming they never received my cancellation number. Then, they adamantly took the position that I was wrong and that I had not called them to cancel. On top of that, they actually billed me for work that they did not even perform, but claimed they did! And to add insult on injury, they hounded me with phone calls day and night to pay them the $41 that I didn't owe. I work at home, so I can see for myself that the work was not done. They didn't apologize, but, tellingly, they did say they would ""clear"" those charges without admitting fault (basically, they lied). The work quality itself was very poor and they actually damaged my grass because of their neglect. I had called them to offer to pay them 3 times more to do a better job (I have a large lawn), but they never got back to me. Overall, I strongly believe this is a churn and burn operation, hoping that they will get enough people to sign up for their low ""come on"" rates and do the least possible work. They know you will cancel eventually, but at least they got some of your money in the interim. I would strongly recommend against using them or, if you must, carefully police whether they actually come or not, and check your bill carefully. Make sure to write down everyone you spoke to on the phone and perhaps get their email address, so you can legally ""memorialize"" the conversation that you had, so you have proof of all your conversations.
