Edda my stylist rocked. 3/23/2006

This is my favorite hair cut to date. I'm 41 and have had my hair done in other cities and countries- Paris, London, NYC, LA, Houston, Dallas and here in Chicago- in famous salons and by famous stylists, and they have been fun or pretty good - I am a tough customer, I have had the best luck with my random sampling of stylists with Chicago Trio - I call Chicago home, and Trio's new stylist Edda did the best job to date of understanding and interpreting me - I am delighted as my cut is hip without being too trendy, sassy and follows my proportions beautifully. This is the second time she has cut my hair - I usually give someone two tries to get it right - and voila! I will be back! more

Edda is the best. 3/21/2006

I will go to Trio in chicago or evanston just to match Edda's hours to mine. She cuts so well that I can go months without a cut and it holds it's shape and except for bangs, looks wonderful. I always tell her she is too good because I used to have to go every 8 weeks to get it shaped but I can let it go really long and it always looks good. Pros: Friendly staff, nice environment more

I will go to Trio in chicago or evanston just to match Edda's hours to mine. She cuts so well that I can go months without a cut and it holds it's shape and except for bangs, looks wonderful. I always tell her she is too good because I used to have to go every 8 weeks to get it shaped but I can let it go really long and it always looks good. Plus she is a wonderful person, great listener and very creative. I highly recommend her!!!! Alexis Pros: Friendly staff, nice environment more

Best stylists! 3/19/2006

I think Trio has the best stylists and colorists. Edda Coscioni at the Evanston salon has been cutting my hair for some time now and does an amazing job. One of my longtime friends told me that this is the best my hair has looked in 10 years! Edda knows how to work with me and what I want. She'll tell me what works and what doesn't. She also has shown me how to style my hair so that it looks like it does when I leave the salon. I don't like to fuss with my hair much and this is the first time I've felt like I can style my hair easily and have it look good. I highly recommend Trio Salon and especially Edda! more

Great Service and Friendly Atmosphere! 1/24/2006

I've been going to Trio for a while now and always go to Robyn when getting my hair cut. She does a wonderful job! She is very helpful in giving me ideas of how I should get my hair cut and ways I can style it. She makes me feel like a real friend and not just another client. The whole staff at Trio is also very friendly and they just make you feel at home! I highly reccommend this salon and Robyn if you need a great haircut! more

While visiting in Chicago, I had the opportunity to visit the Trio Salon in Evanston. I had Robyn Schwartz style my hair. I was extremely satisfied with her effort. She is very talented, offered suggestions, and is a very pleasant stylist to talk to. She treated me as if I were a good friend. She was not only interested in how I looked after the hair style, but also in me personally. Very unique experience. She is not only talented, but she takes the time to make sure I am fully satisfied. I would highly recommend Robyn to any new clients to this salon. more

While visiting in Chicago, I had the opportunity to visit the Trio Salon in Evanston. I had Robyn Schwartz style my hair. I was extremely satisfied with her effort. Robyn's the BEST! 1/23/2006

I'm a swim coach and instructor. I need a style that can handle being underwater 10 hours a week! Robyn cut my hair so that all I have to do is wash and condition, blowdry and go! Frequent cutting keeps my hair healthy looking and Robyn does a great job. With a little more effort and the tips I got from Robyn, I can dress it up and feel pretty. No one can tell how much chlorine damage my hair used to have. It's so much better than I used to get my last salon. Go to Trio, ask for Robyn! Pros: friendly professional more

I use to be the ponytail queen. I have hair that has a mind of its own, sometimes it wants to be curly and other times it is frizzy and all over the place. Never in the past have I had a stylist/salon help/teach me about my hair. Most stylist/salons just sat me on their chair cut my hair, collected their money and that was thatmy hair only looked good for that day. Rosa has changed all that for me. She actually gave me a little Hair 101 review. She pretty much went step by step on a haircut that would work with my hair type and compliment the shape of my face. We went over products and ways to style my hair if I want to style it straight, wavy and curly.. Now, I have control of my hair without putting it up in a ponytail. Thank You Rosa! more

Outstanding salon! 1/7/2006

I've been going to Trio at the 712 N. Wabash location (formerly on Walton) for several years now and can't say enough good things about them! I've had a number of colorists highlight my hair and they're all great. Alex cuts my hair and he's an incredible talent. The first time I went to him, he basically did an ""Extreme Makeover"" and I've been coming back ever since. There may be alot of good salons out there, but at Trio, it's the service that sets them apart, it's simply impeccable. My friends and family never question why I take the train into Chicago to get my hair cut since we live in Wisconsin. It's always obvious, my hair looks great! Pros: service, talent, location more

I travel a great deal and have had my hair cut everywhere in the country but only because I couldn't get back to Trio, they are better than any place I've tried from NYC to LA. Inevitably I had to have someone at Trio fix the cut and/or color. Phillip is the best in the best in the country ...bar none. A haircut by Alex is worth twice the price. more
