I finished a 3-month renovation with Total Home and would recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor in New York. I have worked with many other contractors on homes over the past 25 years and usually they start off strong , but by the end of the project I never want to work with them again. Total Home did an excellent job of renovating our apartment. We had a great experience with them. It is a one stop shop. We used some of their services and were quite impressed with the product and time management.\r We got lighting, custom closets, paint, wall paper and some construction work done. Everything was done perfectly. We were pressed for time, but the project was finished on time, in fact before time!!\r The staff is experienced and helpful. Total Home Interior Solutions did a fantastic job renovating our apartment. They took down our kitchen wall and built an island, put in overhead lighting and blinds, and combined two smaller closets for us. We had heard numerous nightmare stories from friends about other companies, so we were nervous going into the renovation process. However, THIS was very professional and while expensive, very reasonable and pleasant to work with. Given how knowledgeable they were, I believe work was done at a lower cost (and with less headaches) than with a less reliable provider since things were generally done right the first time. I would definitely use them again in the future and strongly recommend their services. more

We used TOTAL HOME for motorized Shades, electrical and custom closets. I loved that they have their own electricians and that the shade package included all electrical work. I also thought it was a nice touch that their electrical work includes the full patch and paint. Other electricians I have used leave me with a bunch of holes and tell me I have to get someone else to close. I was very pleased with their service all around and would definitely use them again. more

Postings reviews is not my forte but TOTAL HOME has performed a job that is worth mentioning. I had no idea where to start with my interior remodeling and looked for direction. We recently purchased a new Luxury Condo and had to fully outfit it, kitchen upgrades to window treatments, electrical, lighting, Audio Visual, Custom Millwork, in short a very large project. We did our research and TOTAL HOMEs Name consistently came up not only for their stellar work but for their incredible integrity. Our trust in them was well served. Our project was complex and they handled everything and adjusted to the changes with ease. They were always available to us. As others have posted I was amazed at how they always answered the phone or got back to us within a few minutes. Having been involved in other projects I can tell you that contractors are notorious for being unreachable. TOTAL HOME has an incredible staff of professionals in every field and there are very few contractors like them that have to sub out so little. They do everything. Their crew is clean, well mannered, polite, responsive, the list goes on and on but suffice it to say they are sensitive to dealing with people that have high expectations (as we do) A lot of time was spent planning and they consistently came up with the most practical solutions. They were extremely patient when I changed my mind about things. The work crews did the work in a quick and clean manner. There was no construction residue for us to worry about which is something I have experienced before. Bankston May Associates, Inc. is a design firm located in Houston, TX. In 2010 we were contracted by a client to renovate and design 3 units at the Rushmore on Riverside. As the units were unfinished, we required extensive work to make the units ready for our clients. The project was very complex and required high end renovations, as well as complicated electrical and Audio Visual Programming. We needed high end finishes, painting and wallpaper. In all the project required a constant hands on supervision and expertise. Making the initial purchase of a beautiful apartment in the upper west side was only the first step of our new home. Many renovations and additions needed to be made. I recently moved into a new apartment with my boyfriend. We realized that that our Italian wood floors could look much better. We also wanted to change the coloring of the walls. Ive been wanting to get my apartment remodeled but I soon realized how time consuming and stressful the whole process was.
