Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill

This place is huge! Enormous bar (shaped like a guitar), big dining room, a stage for concerts, and even a mechanical bull. Very impressive from the start. I'm not a huge country fan but I do like Toby Keith, heard about the place while visiting a friend going to college here. We went in for dinner a few nights ago, there was no wait which was nice for a Sat night but the dining room seemed pretty full. Server came right over and got us some drinks, 32oz beers in a mason jar was cool. I got the BBQ chicken dinner, no complaints, chicken was moist throughout which was a big plus. Price wise it was reasonable, for the food and beer. During dinner the server had told us they were expecting a big crowd because they were showing the UFC fight which I always like but would never pay the PPV fees. But they had it there on all their TVs and there was no cover. I thought that was pretty cool... Luckily, we found a spot at the bar to watch the main fights had a few more drinks there, bartenders were all nice and seemed engaging with the customers. After the fight live music started on their stage, we stayed for a little while but still being on east coast time I was ready for bed. We don't have anything like this in Jersey. more

I'm of the opinion that if you have ask a beer price upfront, you can't afford to be drinking. However, after ordering my one and only beer at Toby Keith's I'm never going back. One large beer, $9 please. With tip, I paid $10 for a single beer. On a Sunday at noon during a recession? Properly priced, I would have spent $30-40 on food and drinks.
