While I waited for my table, my party and I sat in the bar. I was somewhat impressed at the drink prices on tap beer and bar pours. Two for one pricing and normal sized glasses. I would not discourage you from going there for happy hour.
The food was about what I expected. The steaks were tasty and well prepared. Though I felt the presentation was a little booring. Still an overall enjoyable meal was had by all. The prices seemed to be a bit high on some entrees though. Others, like the Viking Sirloin, felt like good values. The blue ox porterhouse seemed a bit on the expensive side.
Service was friendly and competent enough. But I felt it lacked the pampering or spoiling that an upper echelon steak joint would have. Given the prices, I think Timberlodge might consider themselves in that tier establishment.
Pros: two-fers at bar, food taste
Cons: , parking lousy
