I was so excited about this place after hearing all the buzz on the reopening. Unfortunately, it was terrible. Unlike other negative reviews, we had no problems with being seated on time. The hostess was polite and we were seated right away with a reservation. The place is beautiful, decor just fabulous. There were 4 of us. We ordered a bottle of wine and the waiter spilled some on my father. It was very embarassing (for them) - this sort of thing would NEVER happen at a restaurant, let alone one with such expensive pricing. They were apologetic and gave us a second bottle on the house - but that was such a turn off. The soft chell crab appetizer was crispy and delicious. We all ordered steak and I've eaten at all the top steakhouses (Ruth's, Capital Grill, Prime 112, Shula's, Mastro's) and I expected the same level of quality but could not believe how BAD everyone's steak was. I ordered medium rare, and it came medium. All of our steaks were overcooked. The ribeye was tough. The meat seriously tasted more like from an Outback or Longhorn than a $55 piece of meat. I have no problems at all in spending for a good meal, but this was just such poor quality.
