I had my first routine dental exam in several years with Dr. Yam today based on a recommendation from a coworker.\r The entire experience was great. The staff was friendly and answered all the questions I had. I met Dr. Yam initially, who explained the what the visit would consist oft. He was very approachable and professional. I was given x-rays and a routine cleaning by the hygienist. She was very thorough without being rough, commended me on my flossing, and explained to me some changes I should to make for better oral hygiene. I was able to watch soothing videos on the TV about the dental chair, which I definitely appreciated. Dr. Yam came back in shortly, the wait time was not long at all. He went through my x-rays with me in detail, which I have never experienced at a dentist. He also made some suggestions about getting retainers fitted to help protect my teeth. He said he would put in the recommendations to my insurance provider to see what they would cover so I could make an inf more

I look great because I discovered Dr. Shizadnia. When I went to get my teeth cleaned Dr. Shirzadnia noticed that I was grinding my teeth at night and that my bite was improper. So he recommended braces and I choose Invisalign. It is very interesting, you see your teeth in a computer, how your bite is wrong , crooked teeth, and how everything can look after. The procedure is done painlessly, the special x-ray machines show a 3-D view of your teeth, bone, and everything you need to know about your teeth. After my 12 months of using Invisalign my bite is correct and my teeth are straight and beautiful. The price was fantastic. Dr. Shirzadnia is very nice and friendly so that you do not feel afraid to ask questions. Everyone there is so nice to you. Go for it, do not be afraid, it is well spent money for your health and beauty. more

Services rendered exceeded my expectations and were one third the costs of other dentists. Extractions were painless and dentures fitted in one day. Other dentists stated I would require six visits and the costs would be triple. A truly caring professional service, respectful and efficient. Follow up telephone calls to make sure I was feeling well were made. Frankly, I cannot make any complaint whatsoever and urge Herald Square Dental ie; the Denture Center to be used more

I have been wearing loose dentures for years and decided to go to the Denture Center to see if if they could make tighter dentures for me. I first saw Dr. Pasch who recommended that I have implants and that I have a consultation with another doctor at this office, Dr. Yam. I never considered implants but Dr. Yam explained the procedure to me carefully and made me feel comfortable with the idea. I had 3 implants placed in my lower jaw and a new set of upper and lower dentures made and I wish I had decided to have implants years ago. Now my lower dentures are tight and I don't have to use denture glue. Thank you Dr. Yam for your expertise and your gentle care. The implants were not cheap but they were the best investment I ever made. Also a friend of mine had similar work done with another dentist and he paid more for only 2 implants. I would highly recommend Dr. Yam. The office is clean, very modern, and the prices are appear to be reasonable. more
