The Closet Factory

They have great advertising and an impressive showroom. It's as nice as a car dealership. Unfortunately it is like a car dealership. Your agent will promise you whatever it takes to close the deal. And when it's closed you will be left wondering, when something is wrong, why can't I reach anyone ever again. I ordered a simple closet. It was installed. The salesman designed it without the doors in the draft, thus I have a terrible time reaching for things. The edges are very sharp and I cut myself often on the edges. Plus the installer (of many years so he said) didn't have the proper hooks to deal with the interet cable inside the closet, which are common in closets. The installer hung some makeshift sharp hooks that are dangerous to touch. Lastly my salesman R. E. never would call me again, nor answer my emails nor deal with the problem that he and his installer has placed on me. I was, like a car dealership, left with my lemon to deal with on my own. I could not recommend them to anyone as they will tell you, ""we stay with you though the whole process and we inspect it after."" This is not the truth at all. You pay, they put it in, and you never hear from them again. If I was smarter I would never have been sucked into that showroom. more

We had Mark Sidell come to our house from Closet Factory in Fort Lauderdale. Mark is one of the top Senior Designers in the area and so we put ourselves in his capable hands. He designed a GORGEOUS foyer display cabinet which is the very first thing people see when they enter our home. He also created a very nice looking and functional cabinet for us to organize our shoes and other items in our garage. We just love the work and Mark was fabulous to work with. Very knowledgeable and fun too. Our neighbors saw the work and want the exact same foyer cabinet built in their home as well. He'll be doing lots of other work for as well. Our experience with Mark Sidell at Closet Factory in Fort Lauderdale was fabulous! Mark came to our house and personally looked at the space we needed to design. We worked together through numerous design modifications to make the space exactly what we wanted. Mark was very patient during that process to assure that we got the design that would work best while staying within our budget. We had one minor issue during installation but Mark addressed it promptly! He went above and beyond and that is greatly appreciated!!!! more

Mark Sidell did not let us down! He delivered everything that we wanted in our Home Office. Every detail is finished expertly. The Murphy Bed he installed proved very comfortable to our first guest. The men who labored here were professional, courteous, and cleaned up when they were done. This project will be appreciated long after the newness wears off because everything has a place and can be stored neatly and orderly. My husband passed away some months ago and let our walk in closets project half designed. I drove past the Closet Factory showroom on Powerline in Fort Lauderdale and that's where I was introduced to Mark Sidell, one of the Senior Designers. He was finishing up with another family but agreed to spend whatever time I needed to design exactly what I wanted for the closets. Amazing! Mark did a terrific job and I will post another review of the installation process when done. I never knew that Closet Factory did so many other things like craft rooms, home offices, garages and such so my advice is if you need anything like that done in your home just call Mark. more

We had Mark Sidell from Closet Factory design a very nice home office for us. He also did a terrific job with our problem pantry. We are very pleased with the result and couldn't have been happier with Mark's professional approach. He made it easy to understand all our options and of course he guided us with his creative solutions for a number of challenges. This is the 3rd project I have done with Jeanne Hessen of the Closet Factory. They have all been outstanding from start to finish. I am sure they will be more to come. more
