I had the pleasure of working with ann for my wedding. i was not disappointed, she is full of ideas and such a wonderful person to work with. i knew of her work because she also did my sisters wedding, so i knew that she would make my wedding everything that i imagined. She was able to work within my budget for everything that i wanted. Ann and her staff did an amazing job with my bouquet's and centerpieces! more

Ten Pennies has done the wedding flowers for my 2 older sisters and I am now the 3rd sister to have Ann create my wedding flowers. Ann never ceases to amaze us with the wonderful job she does. It seems like she just keeps getting better and better with each of our weddings with her creations. She gives each of us our own special attention to detail so that they look different and express our personality but at the same time are elegant and beautiful. I have never seen wedding flowers done better than what Ann has created. All of our guests always compliment us profusely on how beautiful the flowers look and even the wedding venue and other vendors are so impressed with the flowers that they compliment us as well. I would 100% recommend Ann for your wedding flowers or any event that you want, you will not be disappointed and will have your breath taken away with how beautiful they will be!!! I am an event planner and I am constantly asked what makes a party spectacular. Am amazing room, attention to every little detail and immense creativity makes a party special and Ten Pennies makes it spectacular! Every person who plans a major celebration wants it to be memorable, not only for themselves, but for their guests. Ten Pennies always hits that mark. Whenever I walk into a room that Anne has created, it is unique, signature and perfect! I remember walking into a baseball-themed bar mitzvah several years ago that simply took my breath away. Ann is completely amazing, and I could not have made a better choice for a florist. When I first met her, my mom and I walked out and knew she was who we wanted to do my wedding. Unfortunately, my family is experiencing unexpected financial and emotional stress. When I went to Ann to tell her that my fiance and I decided to postpone the wedding for these reasons, she insisted that she wanted to get the deposit back to me to help out. Not only are her work and flowers amazing, but she is also a GOOD and kind person. I wouldn't look anywhere else, and I cannot wait until when I finally do become a bride, she does my flowers! WOW - where to start! On a scale of 1-10 Ann and Ten Pennies are a 12. The ballroom at the Four Seasons was transformed into Old Hollywood Glamour for our party. I could almost feel the spirits of Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner when I walked into this magnificent room. Black velvet and diamonds everywhere, the most exquisite flowers, roses, orchids, hydranges, etc. that you can ever imagine. The chairs, the linens, the plates all were perfect. Ann worked tirelessly on every single little detail for our party. I can't say that she is like family now because she IS family now. There is no second. Ten Pennies is in a class by itself. more

We used Ten Pennies for our daughter's wedding at the Ritz. Ann and her team turned the Grand Ballroom into a magical wonderland of beautiful flowers. Guest after guest said that they were the most beautiful flowers they have ever seen. Ann is a total professional and has become a friend through the process. more

I was very nervous about meeting with florists for my upcoming wedding. I had no idea what i was looking for or what to expect. The minute I walked into Ten Pennies, I knew I had found the best - just read any other reviews or take a look at the thousands of awards on her wall . Ann and Chuck were amazing. Not only were they able to bring my vision to life in a matter of minutes, but Ann was very accomodating with my budget. Above all else, Ann was incredibly warm and helpful. She put me at ease right away. I cannot wait to see it all come together on my wedding day. more

I was just at a wedding at Society Hill Sheraton this past weekend and saw such AMAZING and UNIQUE flower design that I had to find out which Florist did the decor. Since I have a wedding coming up on June 11th I had to get someone nailed down soon. I saw Ann from Ten Pennies and she was absolutely SPECTACULAR!! She knew exactly what I wanted and she worked within my budget. She also gets to know who you are so your wedding will be unique to you and your needs...not the same old arrangements that everyone has. USE TEN PENNIES they made this beautifully easy!! SO HAPPY!!! Our daughter's wedding was just 2 days ago and I had to sit down and write my review of Ten Pennies Florist immediately. The Four Seasons Ballroom was transmored into the most MAGNIFICENT fairytale Ballroom that our daughter wanted! EVERY DETAIL was there...from the AMAZING centerpieces to the beautiful candles ...to the white dancefloor...to the gel lighting...to the uplighting...to the place card table. There aren't enough words to totally capture it all. more

My daughter's wedding was this past Saturday night at the Sheraton in Society Hill. The Ballroom in that hotel is gorgeous on its own, and it is huge. Ten Pennies was the florist we used for the wedding. To say that they did a beautiful job decorating the ballroom would be an understatement. A more accurate statement would be that they MADE THE ENTIRE WEDDING THE MOST SPECTACULAR, BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS, MAGICAL, AMAZING event of our lives. After the ballroom was decorated by Ten Pennies, with the world's most brilliantly beautiful, gorgeous flowers, and after the draping, candles and lighting that Ten Pennies did- we all were stunned with the magnificience of it all. It was truly like we were in a dream that went BEYOND anything we imagined; BEYOND everything we wanted. The flowers, draping, and lighting were done to perfection. The entire wedding was an absolute dream come true. Working with Ann Catania was wonderful. Over the months that we planned this very formal black tie wedding, there were times when my daughter thought she wanted to have the decor be something else, and everytime we'd meet with Ann she would write down what we wanted and help us sort through our thoughts. But I kept wanting something different than my daughter wanted, and Ann helped us work it out over the months of planning! The result was a spectacular ballroom, spectacular bouquets, way beyond the beauty we imagined and wished for. We had guests in attendance at the wedding from all over the country; they've been emailing and calling and texting me for the last two days raving about the beautiful flowers and lighting and candles and draping. Even at the brunch the following morning, where some of the arrangements from the wedding were displayed, a woman came in to ask me questions about the flowers; she was an event planner herself, who had just flown in from New Zealand!!! Ann and Ten Pennies made our wishes come true. We will never use another florist; we will always use Ten Pennies and we think that anyone who would not use Ten Pennies is crazy!!!!! I will never be able to thank Ann and all of her wonderful workers at Ten Pennies for making my daughter's wedding the most beautiful, spectacular, magical night of our lives. more

I can not find the words to explain how amazing Ann at Ten Pennies is. From the minute my mom and I walked in we knew we were in the right spot! We didn't even have to think for a second about whether or not to book Ten Pennies for my upcoming wedding in June. My husband and I recently got married at the Racquet Club of Philadelphia and used Ten Pennies as our florist. We could not have been happier. The venue looked amazing - the centerpieces were full and vibrant and the cake decorations looked as though they were right out of a bridal magazine. My bouquet must have weighed 10 pounds but it had the most beautiful roses I have ever seen. Guests kept asking if the flower decorations were real because they looked so perfect. Hats off to Anne and her crew for a job well done! more

i have witnessed ann catania at work and she does a great job directing what is necessary for a wonderful party/event. she puts the brides at ease and is very helpful. ann is knowledgeable/helpful. designers and installation crew - just great. Pros: her team/unique design Cons: none more
