tire pressure reader 1/20/2014

i had had a blowout in missouri and when the tire dealer reinstalled a pressure sensor in the tire, the dash light would not go out. i took it into tate's and they installed one of their own readers and the light still won't go out. the problem is apparently in another part of the vehicle. i have been alway treated well and fairly at tate's and use them primarily for my vehicle non warranty needs. more

Honest, fast service for how busy they are, fair pricing 1/17/2014

I managed/ worked automotive shops for 15 years and I'm now out of the business. Marcus and the guys do a great job and I will be taking my trucks to them from now on. I would recommend you give them a try. more

Still the only plasce I will go for tire, suspension and brake service 1/10/2014

However, my last visit was for noisy grinding brakes. The repair was very expensive because the wear was so bad rotors needed replaced, axles pulled to do so etc. The work performed was very good. The disappointing part is that I was in for a tire rotation only a month earlier. I have come to expect the techs/mechanics to let me know when the brakes are getting close to needing attention. I was not told my brakes were needing replaced. I had only driven 2000 miles since that time and am sure the excessive wear found was not done in only 3-4 weeks time. I'm sure this was a simple oversight but a costly one for me. I've been a Tate Boys customer since the store on 2nd street in Bartlesville and have always been satisfied with the service. I WILL continue to use and recommend Tate Boys Tires but I will also be asking more questions in the future. more

My truck has over 218K miles on it and in no small way, the service I have received from the staff at Tate Boys Owasso has made that a reality. I have no reason not to expect another 200k. more

I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and how fast everything was! They quoted me an hour and a half (busy day-no appt) and I was out in about half that. Also, the price for my oil change and tire rotation/balancing was amazing. I think my parents are going to start going there after I told them about it. Thanks! more

Poor workmanship 12/23/2013

After years of doing business with Tate Boys, i will not be back. Had my Mercedes in for an oil change and tire rotation and by the time i got in my garage ,i thought my car was on fire because it was smoking so badly.was very upsetting to me. My husband returned car to Tate and they admitted that oil was spilled on motor. That is very poor workmanship and should have been cleaned before my car left the shop, i chose Tate Boys years ago because i wanted to do business in Owasso and because they should know how to service luxury cars. There is a large oil spot in my garage as well. I hope this review will serve as a reminder that poor workmanship will hurt your business and reputation. Barbara kirby more
