I've been coming to this location for years. Both my wife and I use Tate boys for all of our vehicle maintenance issues and have been very satisfied with them. Recently I had my truck in there to get some new tires put on it. While I was working out I got a call from them telling me that I needed to replace the ball joints in my front end. They told me they were "pretty bad". I know these guys well enough to know that they weren't trying to UP sell me or get me to spend money on something that wasn't necessary so without thinking it thru I gave them the go ahead to do the work at a price tag of $960. After the work had been done I just happened to be talking to a good friend who works at the dealership where I bought my truck back in 2011. He told me that the ball joints were covered under my drive train warranty and told me I should have had them do it there and it wouldn't have cost me anything. Spending $960 unnecessarily isn't something I enjoyed. I realize this was no one fault but mine because I didn't realize at the time that it would have been covered under my warranty. I just wish that someone there would have taken the time to check into it before I let them do the work. Oh well, what can you do? Just wanted to voice my thoughts on that so maybe someone else might not have to spend $1000 on something that's covered under their warranty.
Overall these guys are great. They take good care of me and my wife. They know us on a first name basis and I trust them and will continue to give them my business without hesitation.
