Love this place - the woman who works the counter is friendly and remembers your name and info. Great cleaning and pressing. Had one problem with an alteration but she bent over backwards to make it right. more

I think everyony has their own opinion. As for my self I think symphony cleaners are well know with many location in the city and I deal with them for many years I,ve never had a problem with their service and the coupons are great it help out a lot more

Spakling when she left 4/20/2011

New management for the maid service! The new owner read my previous review, and contacted me about trying the new service. Pearl came to clean our apartment and it was actually spakling when she left. I highly recommend you ask to try to the new service. more

Haven't missed a delivery 4/12/2011

Pretty decent place. They haven't missed a delivery. Laundered mens shirts were $1.75, which is pretty good for the UWS. Would lightly recommend. more

Great new managment 4/11/2011

I am writing another review in order to praise Symphony's new customer relations. After posting my first atrocious review, I was personally contacted by the manager. She has been incredibly nice and apologetic and explained that the cleaners has a new mgmt team and is much better. She gave me a credit on my next order. Her customer service alone is making me go back to Symphony. Hopefully my clothes will come back clean and in good shape! Either way, A+ to them for getting new good mgmt. more

Cheapest place 4/7/2011

At $.75/lb, Symphony is the cheapest place to have laundry laundered. Though, better to drop off rather than have them pick-up, as sometimes they forget to come. Same-day service makes it convenient. more

Always makes my day 4/4/2011

Great place. Same-day drop-off service: leave your laundry by 11 and pick them up at 6 PM. They offer free pickup and delivery as well, though I've never used it. Prices are very reasonable, at 80 cents a pound with a 10 pound minimum. Great folding. What more could you want? I think the staff are friendly enough. Also available, dry cleaning and shoe repair. Bonus for coming here: the adorable little old UWS ladies who frequent this place. You're sure to run into one leaving with a little wheeled laundry basket, at a snail's pace, with a smile on her sweet face. Always makes my day. more

Chicka Chicka Yeaaaaaah 4/1/2011

When you work in fashion, people expect your clothes to look chic, tailored and clean. I often come to Symphony Cleaners for last minute cleaning or maintenance of certain pieces. I've only used Symphony a few times and each visit has been a positive experience. They were able to remove wine stains from a white Burberry coat, spot clean a vintage purple silk blouse without fail and press and clean my beloved pair of Eryn Brinie shorts. Alterations aren't a problem for them too. I usually get my jeans and pants altered because of my short legs. Sigh. A sad fact of life. On a positive note, my post-altered bottoms look like they were just made for me. They get it right all the time here. Chicka Chicka Yeaaaaaah. I'm a fan. more

Bada bing bada boom 3/29/2011

I don't know much about dry cleaners but what I do know is that every time I've come here I've had great service. I'm not sure if they can be considered pricey considering this is Manhattan and the UES nonetheless. For what I pay, I feel like I'm getting exactly what I need: clean clothes and timely service. Can't really ask for much more than that. Specifically, I needed some shirts and a couple of suits cleaned for a trip I was going on and I didn't have enough time to get it to a shop. I brought it here maybe a day or two before my departure and bada bing bada boom (!) the turnaround time was superb. Since then, I've been coming here and getting my stuff done well. For me, once I find a good spot I like sticking with it. Sure, restaurants and bars and lounges you may want to check out a variety of places but for a staple like a dry cleaners, just find one and stay loyal. It'll pay dividends. more

Unparalleled customer service 3/3/2011

I found Symphony Cleaners from a direct mail coupon.... The first order was picked up and returned promptly. More importantly, the customer service I received was unparalleled to my other neighborhood cleaners.  The prices are pretty competitive and my initial experience has prompted me to switch over and give Symphony the my business for everyday cleaning. more

Great place 3/2/2011

I've been here a handful of times and nothing but pleasantries.  Multiple times have I dropped off my much needed shirts, pants, suits, my metrosexual cashmere sweaters and other dry clean only paraphernalia looking for a  very short turnover period and Symphony has come through.  Prices are definitely doable, customer service is friendly and overall I haven't had any qualms that I can think of at the moment. more

Excellent service 2/16/2011

Yeah, it's expensive, but they've never lost any of my clothing.  They're also very very nice, they provide great service, they deliver, and they're less expensive than the other two dry cleaners on the same block.  They also gave me a great price on cleaning and repairing an antique mink stole I got from the Salvation Army coat sale. more

Attentive and helpful 2/16/2011

when it comes to dry cleaning and prices i am not as familiar with it.  ive come here a few times and have never left disappointed.  to shirts, suits, and pants, they've always done me right in a timely manner.  i never felt like i broke my wallet and havent found a problem with my clothes.  another thing to note is their service.  everytime i've gone in, they've been attentive, helpful and kind.  i dont see why there are more good reviews about symphony cleaners.  if you're i this area, look them up.  they'll do you right. more

Prices are par for the area. I've used their service for about two years and found them friendly and accommodating in a crisis while giving good efficient service day-to-day. I like them more
