Wow....I am very happy I found this store!!! I purchased a whole house full of furniture and I got a GREAT deal I'm talking almost half of what I would have spent at one of their competitors. Every part of my experience was excellent. I don't know how they do it. The delivery guys were professional, very fast and efficient. I would highly recommend this store if you want good furniture, at very reasonable prices. more

We checked several places and was told to check out SDF. Yes they have a big selection and the furniture looks great in the showroom. The salesman was cool and took care of us and we paid for our furniture. And that is about the only thing about the store that was decent. I called the store after 2 weeks to see what the status of our delivery was, and was told by our salesman that someone would call me back within an 2 hours. No one called back. I called later that day and they told me manufacturers were closed and they couldn't check. I asked to talk to our salesman, and was put on hold and was told he was busy but said it would be ready in a few days. lol Called three days later and was told by the salesman that he was not the one to talk to and to call customer service. So a salesman hands you his card, sells you the goods, then that is as far as it goes? Customer service people are not willing to do squat to help you and sound annoyed that you want your furniture. I have been shopping there for 15 years. I have furnished my Corona and Vegas home with there furniture. Best prices around and so helpful. I have some furniture that is 10 years old and still looking good. I had been to about 10 STORES looking for a CORNER T.V. UNIT.... and came across Simply Discount Furniture REVIEWS. I read the review regarding custom oak desks.So, I called and asked for the salesperson Noah who had been given a great review on the custom desk unit. He was able to make a schematic of what I was looking for and showed me pictures of what it would look like... I was hesitant because I wasn't looking for an oak unit..However, he showed me many finishes it was available in and how they could change the style giving me the modern contemporary look I wanted. It was completed in 15 days and it looked amazing.... and at a very reasonable price for a custom unit... \r \r I was hesitant ... but he gave me such a great impression of his knowledge...and experience.\r \r I am glad I made my purchase and have received compliments from friends and family. more

I needed to furnish a new apartment quickly and on a modest budget. I was able to get a bedroom set, including a queen size bed with 2 night stands and two dressers along with a dining table/4 chairs AND a coffee table with two end tables for less than $2000.00. It's not top of the line furniture, but it's much better than the type of furniture you would get from IKEA, for example. I've had the furniture for over a year and it's held up extremely well. In regards to their customer service, I was very pleased. Both at the store and with the delivery crew. There was a small ding on the headboard they delivered, and although they did not have any add'l headboards in the warehouse, they told me they would call me to arrange delivery of a replacement headboard. Believe it or not, they actually called me 6 weeks later when they got a fresh shipment and offered to deliver it at my convenience. I've been shopping at Simply for years. Before the Saugus store opened I traveled to the North Hollywood store. The customer Service has always been great!!!! If I had issues with anything it was promptly taken care of. I have NO complaints about this store at all. With the economy the way it is they go out of there way to get you what you need with a price you can afford. more

I was at Simply Discount Furniture in Santa Clarita with my wife a few weeks ago . We had been looking for a certain size and configuration oak desk unit for several weeks. However, a friend of the family mentioned they had bought a custom entertainment center in oak made custom by a design consultant @ store named Noah. \r The saleman was great. He knew what we needed as soon as we explained our configuration and needs . He made a small schematic , showed us 10 different finishes , and gave us a unbelievable price for a custom desk unit. He was able to quote us $300.00 lower than the Oak Barn in Van Nuys. \r We just received the desk unit, yesterday. And it was exactly how he presented the Custom Desk Unit ....would be made. So sweet and helpful, went to the back to check on delivery and they tell you everything you want to hear and take your money. That's where it all ends, there customer service is the worst on the planet. Reporting them to BBB\r It's painfully obvious what complaints are real here and which ones simply discount writes, one hugh thing this place needs to learn is the word "sorry" more

I can't believe what an idiotic response you would write regarding the child's PSP player. Lady be more responsible, how about get a life Mr. A. You don't tell someone you found something of theirs and then do not be a responsible adult (remember we are talking about an 11 year old child) and maybe put it behind the counter for them so when they did return they would be overjoyed and very grateful. I love this place. The furniture threre is great and they have good prices on them as well. I have gotton my dinig room table from them, that seats 8 people as well as a hutch, a coffee table and two end tables at really good prices. We will be going back to get new couches from there. more

I researched this site(and a lot of furniture stores still around),and had seen one negative review,but,decided to go to the store anyway and see what they had. I was blown away by the assortment and was in the store for over 1 hour just looking around.My salesman was very attentive,but not too pushy,and answered all my questions.\r My wife and I bought a bedroom set,a couch,a loveseat a coffee table,with the end tables.The stuff was delivered in about 2 weeks(not the 4 weeks the manager said).And the stuff arrived without a scratch.The delivery people were good,knowledgable,and courteous,and set everything up real nice without any problems.I had not a single problem with the entire process.Now we need a dining room set we didn't get originally.Going back this weekend.I highly recommend this store. more

We have been customers for many years. I've had furniture that was late and right on time....doesn't bother me a bit. I will never go anywhere else. The service is great, the prices are amazing and they will bend over backwards to make you happy. I have told friends, and family and more friends. They have a large selection with a mixed-bag of "qualified" salesmen. Make sure you ask for someone who knows their products if the salesperson you get is "fumbling" around like ours was, it will save you some time. Promises...the product we ordered was not on the floor. If you purchase something at the warehouse (right there in the store) be prepared for next day delivery. We purchased something from the manufacturer and were told 4 weeks to delivery , allow 6 just to to be safe. Here it is 8 weeks later and we have not received our product. It's the manufacturer, not them we're told. Thankfully, to ease our discomfort and impatience we were sent a loaner while we wait. This is exemplary customer service in my opinion. We really appreciate being loaned furniture while we wait. The prices are great. You're not getting Ethan Allen or Thomasville, but they have a huge selection and some really nice stuff. The quality is decent enough. We expect if "the manufacturer" didn't mess up again, more

We recently purchased an entertainment center and a roll top desk and we are very happy with the personalized service and the pieces we received. We did not find what we wanted on the floor, so the salesman brought out many catalogs to find exactly what we wanted. He made phone calls to answer our questions and they really worked to make us happy. I highly recommend them. more

One of the best kept secrets in all of southern California.\r I went into Simply Discount Furniture located off the street next to a family fun park in Santa Clarita, Just after I left a known furniture chain store and found the same sofa for almost half the price, not only that they delivered it to my house the same day, I got to say I would recommend anybody looking for furniture to give this store a look. more
