Superb!! 6/5/2013

I've been shopping at Simply for years. Before the Saugus store opened I traveled to the North Hollywood store. The customer Service has always been great!!!! If I had issues with anything it was promptly taken care of. I have NO complaints about this store at all. With the economy the way it is they go out of their way to get you what you need with a price you can afford. more

Great Prices Great Service!!! 6/17/2012

Simply Discount went above and beyond to find me exactly what I was looking for about 30% lower than I would of paid at Ashley Furniture. I bought furniture from other furniture stores in the past and found my experience much better here. My Salesman was helpful not pushy. My order delivered on time and with out a problem. I am definitly going back to Simply Discount to get my Mattress and Bedroom Furniture. more

HORRIBLE CHEAP PRODUCT WITH NO WARRANTY 4/12/2012

DO NOT SHOP HERE. THE PRICES ARE DECENT BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND MORE THAN THAT THE PRODUCT IS HORRIBLE. WE BOUGHT A BED FROM THEM AND IN THE FIRST WEEK A PART BROKE. THEY WERE SO NOT HELPFUL IN HELPING TO REPLACE THE PART. NOW HERE IT IS LESS THAN 9 MONTHS LATER AND WE HAVE TO GET RID OF THE BED. THE BED IS BROKEN IN 3 MAIN PLACES AND THEIR ONLY OPTION IS TO PAY FOR THE PARTS OF THE BED THAT ARE BROKEN. THE COST OF THE PARTS ARE MORE THAN THE COST OF THE BED. DON'T SHOP HERE, i promise you will regret it! more

Better than Good not Great 6/15/2011

Well looked many places urban home, easy life...was close to buying at those places..but ran across this place went in.. It was a Memorial day sale no tax...Hugh selection and we had furniture already pick out at 1 store ?well we found what we needed living room and dinning room table the couch and chair great price it is made in china but looks and holding up good ..Needed a dinning room table did not like there selection so I ask them can I go on line and show you the one I am going to buy and can you match r beat the price, went online found the table they could not get the table but showed me better tables for a better price in there furniture books very modern? there tables in store a lil dated..They gave me a great price on all of it..Love buying at the same place for a deal?. delivery on time but service a lil sketchy watch the guys and make sure they don?t leave or get paid until everything is right..Store service great the delivery team not so much.. more

They went above and beyond for me 3/30/2011

I bought a large sectional with 4 recliners. After a few weeds, we noticed an issue with 2 of the recliner mechanisms. I took over a copy of my receipt and scheduled an "in home inspection" of the recliner. Upon seeing the problem, they removed the affected section, replaced the recliner portions that were broken and re-delivered it. All without charge and hassle and all during the largest rainstorm we have had in years. I cannot say enough about how EXCEPTIONALLY WELL we were treated. They will get ALL of my furniture business from now on. more

HORRIBLE STORE DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!! 3/25/2011

I do not even want to put one star on this review!!! I wish you could write a review with negative stars!!!\r The customer service is so poor, and VERY RUDE!! We bought the furniture because it was discounted and the sales person said that all the furniture had a 1 year warranty.....LIE!! Not only have we only had the furniture for 8 months, but our couch has broken and our sons ladder to his bunkbed broke when he was trying to climb to the top! That is so unsafe and yes he got a scratch from it, but it could have been way worse. We tried to contact the store we bought it from, Agoura hills, and GO FIGURE, they went out of business!! Bet I know why!\r \r The Corporate office will not fix our couch and will not simply send us a new ladder, we have to drive 45 mins to them to pick up a part to a bed that they sold that was defective!! \r My husband called and talked to the Owner Don, and DON was so rude. Don said that rather than paying shipping costs since the store next to us closed th more

DiSHONEST SALES! 3/22/2011

VERY DISHONEST. My wife went in to purchase a table & chairs. They were advertised 2 weeks prior for $100 less, but we were ok with the difference and understood that they were no loner on sale. The salesman (Jerry) checked on the availability and confirmed it would be on the delivery truck to them on Fri and we could pick it up on Sat., so we purchased.\r \r No phone calls, no nothing, and when we called multiple times they simply said they couldn't get it for a month.....\r \r NEVER SHOP HERE.....Horrible service and dishonest sales practices, especially toward unaccompanied women shoppers. more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I went to look for a futon at their Lankershim store and asked for some choices. They have a big sign saying that there is a sale going on with no sales tax. I tried to negotiate the price and In return, I got a response from a salesperson that I am not ready to buy and I should get out of the store. When I said that I'd buy and pay no sales tax. He laughed and told me to leave. VERY HORRIBLE STORE. DO NOT SHOP THERE. They have tons of crap furniture and things that are decent they want to rip you off on. more

I was told to lie to the insurance company that insured the furniture that I purchased at Simply Discont Furniture in Santa Clarita. The customer service is the worst that I have ever seen. Noah is very unprofessional and inappropriate. I will never shop there again. The price is not worth the poor service! more

A fine place to shop for furniture. I was very pleased with my recent (10-09-2009) visit there. They have been in business for over 20 years with one of the largest selection in town. This is a REAL person making a REAL review. I have been a long time dedicated customer of Simply Discount furniture, from the time they started in there little warehouse in North Hollywood. I have furnished my homes, apartments, clients apartments, families homes for 20 years. Yes, they have the ultimately lowest prices for the absolute best quality. Try to find a lower price anywhere else. I have sent numerous friends, family members and co-workers/clients, and will continue to do so! As far as customer service is concerned, I and the numerous other customers I've referred to them have not a complaint. Keep in mind, this is a discount furniture center. You can't beat their deal and their quality. There will always be the few unsatisfied customer's, but to each his own. Thanks for the great deals Simply Discount, and I'll be sending more your way! more

Simply Discount Furniture 8/9/2009

Great prices but when we purchased our dining room furniture they gave us the wrong chairs. I had built up two chairs in a different room (same style but shorter) because we don't have alot of room in our kitchen. When we took back the chairs I asked for a credit as they had made the mistake of giving us the wrong chairs. The salesman did not care that i had taken 20 minutes of my time to build chairs or that i had driven 40 minutes to drop off and pick up the correct chairs. Not sure if we'll be back unless i open the boxes and verify we received the correct products. more
