We where given a 10 - 20 min pick up time, we ordered around 730pm and stopped by around 755pm, Hostess at the counter told us it would be another 15 minutes, it did not look like they even started the order until I walked through the door, when I came back 15 mins later the guy handing me the stuff was being rude about it like I should have waited inside for the full 15 mins instead of waiting outside for 10 mins. The items felt hot but when I got home the pizza tasted cold, like it was sitting around and reheated. I like 2 mins down the road so that would not have been a factor in it cooling down so quickly, hot box cold sauce. The food tasted great but a disappointing in the service for pick up, it was a slow Monday night the restaurant was empty, no excuses. more

Sicilia's is an amazing Sub/Sandwich shop even though it is primarily advertised as a Pizza Shop. I HIGHLY recommend the steak and cheese sub. They are relatively fast with your order, never have messed up with my orders and have been generally very pleasant to work with. more

First of all, when the delivery came it was missing part of my order. The delivery guy barely spoke English and did not seem to care that I didn't recieve my correct order. He did call the restaurant, but never made any effort to correct the mistake. I went back and checked my confirmation email, which had the complete order listed. I did call Sicilias to ensure that I would not be charged for the missing order. They never made an attempt to apologize for this screw-up. Also, the food wasn't very good. The pizza crust was bland and the pizza itself was not impressive. I will not be ordering from Sicilias again. more

DO NOT ORDER FROM SICILIAS 1/15/2009

My boyfriend and I ordered from Sicilia's hoping to enjoy a nice, delivered meal. When he bit into his last slice, however, he bit into a piece of CHEWED GUM. The manager/owner would not listen to our complaint and actually accused us of chewing the gum and putting it on the pizza. Their customer service stinks and this restaurant is CLEARLY not up to health standards. more

Extra Ingredients 1/15/2009

Loved this place until I got a piece of chewed gum added to my order, under the cheese. Called to complain and was told by management that I was trying to get myself a free $13 pizza. Stay away from these guys unless you don't mind sampling whatever extras they feel like adding to their product. Cons: expensive, slow, tampered with more

Chicago style? Not really 9/6/2008

To the person who said ""this is true Chicago style, cut into squares not slices"" I realize that there are many places here in in Chicago that cut their pizzas in squares, but that is NOT ""Chicago style"" pizza. Chicago style is known as ""deep dish"", and it is cut into triangles. The pizza cut into squares is actually credited to St. Louis style pizza (or provel pizza) and it was invented by a man who layed floor tiles for a living. Saw that on a History Channel show about pizza. Chicago does have some pretty good thin crust (or flat pizzas), but it's not ""Chicago style"". If you want thin crust pizza, I mean really GOOD thin crust pizzas, you go to New Haven,. Phillly, New York, St Louis, or Milwaukee who has the unique ""cracker crust"" pizza baked on square cookie sheets. There is a place outside Milwaukee called Wells Brothers. It advertises the 'best thin crust pizza in the world"" and boy do they deliver! more

  • Sicilias of Federal Hill frozen deep-dish pizza comes from one of Americas greatest Italian neighborhoods. This specialty pizza has been a Federal Hill favorite for over 30 years. In fact, we ship our pizzas across the country to customers who have left the area, but still crave our pizza. So began our take and bake frozen pizza recipe.

Our bake-at-home pizzas are made with the same care and attention as the pizzas served at our restaurant on Providences Federal Hill. Each pie is handcrafted using the best ingredients: rolled, hand-tossed dough; generous handfuls of fresh mozzarella; and Sicilias fresh, specially made tomato sauce.

The result is a hearty, classic Italian meal that features a soft cheesy center, a tangy savory marinara sauce and a light, crunchy crust that alone or with toppings creates a flavorful and filling meal that will satisfy even the heartiest appetite. Enjoy!
