I loved my first experience at Shi Salon. I needed to get my hair done for my senior prom, and was reffered to Shi. I was a little nervous about going to a new salon, (due to horrible experiences with new stylists) so I called and set up a consultation with Tiffany. She was very friendly, cofident, and really helpful. Once I arrived she began on my hair promptly. She used good product and she didn't use gel. When she was finished I was so happy, because not only did my hair look just like the picture, but I knew I would have the best hair at prom. Pros: They use top of the line product. Jennifer (Jennices) is a stylist beyond compare! She is always prompt, courteous, upbeat overflowing with new styles, colors, cuts and knowledge for my hair. She often will re-explain the coloring process to me just to make me more comfortable. I am so traditional but Jennifer brings me OUT of my shell every time to everyone's amazement and my own. I really did not know I could look so attractive. She colored & waxed my brows, highlight, shampooed, deep conditioned, flat ironed and styled my hair, added a few individual lashes, applied a small amount of make up and (Viola') I was ready for my night out on the town. While she was working with my hair she explained the benefits of the products she used on my hair, on a cellular level out to the tips of my hair. She also recommends products to keep my natural hair strong and healthy. The other stylist are professional & accomodating as well, offering coffee or water refills or getting you a magazine or towel while you sit under the hair dryer. The salon is contemporary, bright and clean and parking is plentiful. Shi Salon a shear delight darlings!!!!! Pros: Level of knowledge about hair, creativity, prompt service, outstanding results Cons: A bit high end on cost but still worth it. I just set my first appointment with the salon. The receptionist was very polite, couteous and helpful. They accomodated me for a same day appointment and have assured an unhurried visit. I will return with more comments later! more

Shawn is GREAT! And the ambiance at SHI Salon is WARM and RELAXING. All the other stylist are just as professional and personable. Satisfaction is Shawn's, my STYLIST, #1priority. She welcomes and incorporates my ideas with her knowledge and skill set to give me the perfert hair style EVERYTIME. And even when I am fresh out of "what I call ideas", she gives me a style that is cutting edge but that also compliments my personality as well as the shape of my "big" head(:-). Kudos! more

SHAWN is ...........THE BOMB!!! She is my favorite stylist of all time. When I first came to her I had a relaxer and now 2+ years later I am completely natural with my hair touching my shoulders. Currently my hair is 2-tone colored, honey golden-blond and soft brown. I have received several compliments inside and outside of the salon. Another thing I like about MY stylist SHAWN is that when I leave the salon I am satisfied, SHAWN makes sure of that. I would also like to add that I love the atmosphere at Shi Salon. Marie has done and excellent job with her contemporary design that she changes from time to time. The people are great; you are always greeted with a smile. When I first walked into Shi Salon back in September 2006, I was greeted warmly by Marie (the owner). The receptionist at the time was Stacey, and she offered to take my coat. I was then escorted to the shampoo area where I received a hair wash and a one minute head massage. I was extremely pleased with the end results of my hair experience. I am now a frequent client of Shi Salon and my stylist are Marie and Shawn. When I need an appointment and one stylist may not be available, there is always another stylist who is accommodating. I appreciate the service that Shi Salon provides. Shi Salon is a very classy and upscale establishment. I came into the salon one day looking for a new style for my hair. A stylist by the name of Shawn serviced me that day. Shawn was so pleasant and professional! She new that I was looking for a new style, and instead of not caring like other salons I have visited, she took the time out to see what hairstyle would best fit me. My favorite stylist is Shawn Jordan, who is also a very good friend of mine. Shawn is as nice as she is talented. She is a expert stylist who can do any style you request. I visited shi salon for the first time about two weeks ago and to say the least I was impressed....the atmosphere was relaxing and the people were friendly. I hadn't been to a salon in years: When I made the choice to stop getting relaxers, I discoved my beautician didn't know how to do natural hair. In my opinion, I did it better myself. However, when a friend from work suggested that I go to shi salon and let sean do my hair I decided to give salons another try. And I'm so glad I did! I've had some awful experiences with hair stylists who don't listen and cut too much off, thus I decided to try a new place where trendy and artistic meets clientel -focused. I have experienced the very best of high class service from Shi Salon. My stylist was Jennices and she is heaven sent! I had infusion done and she was so professional and it even included complimentary lunch! The atmosphere is very professional and everyone in the salon was very polite and knows how to treat their customers. Jennices is the best stylist that I have ever had the pleasure of going to. She was very personable and very friendly. She made me feel comfortable, relaxed and at home. I was also very impressed with her credentials. She specializes in hair extensions, natural hair straightening, wigs, precision eyebrow sclupting, and waxing. She also gives the worlds BEST scalp message! When I leave SHI Salon, I am G.L.A.M.O.R.O.U.S. both inside and out. All of the stylists are so creative. I've been going to Marie Simone Smith for six years and people think my hair is weave. I've been going to Shi Salon for a little over a year now and have to say that it is the best salon I have ever been to. Tiffany is my stylist and I love the fact of being able to sit in her chair and not having to worry about what my hair will look like when I leave. She is SO versatile. One week I'm rockin' one of the latest "punk rock " styles, the next week I'm sophisticated with a head full of "tight curls". The salon itself is in a class of its own. It's so relaxing, peaceful, and everyone is so friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend Shi Salon to anyone that is searching for a new stylist or a new fresh look. I have been a customer of the owner for over 12 years and she is awesome. I love the fact that even though I believe she is the best she continues to take classes to educate herself on color and cut techniques. The salon's atmosphere is ever changing and very modern with a relaxed feel. The staff is awesome, I love that I can rely on someone else to provide hair services if ever my beautician goes out of town. Not only is the staff positive and pleasant but they are Christian but not overbearing.
