Service techs are great, sales people not so much. 2/1/2013

I had the inspection on the furnace done and the tech came up with a list of items needing attention. He suggested I talk with a sales person instead of fixing anything since the cost would be about the same as replacement. I agreed and the sales person came out the next day. I told him upfront I wasn't going to buy that day and he spent an hour trying to get me to sign me up for their special they have on their website. In the end he refused to give an estimate since I wasn't going to purchase at that moment. Their website says they give free estimates but that was not my experience with them. And the worst part was if you didn't jump right then and there they would infer you weren't that smart. more

Service Legends Heating & Cooling put in a furnace and they cleaned all the duct work for me. Their people were all very professional, nice, and they did the job well. I've had people do work in my house before and they return four or five times before they get it right, but Service Legends did the job right the first time. more

Courteous, knowledgeable, wonderful people. 1/15/2013

I'm a single income person with a very strict budget. My furnace started to act funny and did not know what was going on. I had very little money saved aside. I called a few companies, who said the trip charge out was going to be $60-70 and that the job would have to be paid for in full before they left the job site. At this point I was starting to panic. I called Service Legends, told them the story, and they said they would be willing to work with me. To someone who doesn't have an awful lot sitting in the bank that was huge. They also guaranteed that they would fix it right, or that if they had to come back out it would be their problem not mine. They believe in their people and in the knowledge of the people they send out. After I paid them for the job I was contacted a few days later and was told I had paid them $20 more than needed. They sent me back the extra $20 in the mail. more

Fantastic tech. Did a terrific job. 12/18/2012

Service Legends had excellent service. They were very thorough, very knowledgeable, and experienced. Josh, the technician who came out to maintain the furnace, showed me what the problem was, fixed it, showed me where it might break in the future, and gave me advice on how to keep it from breaking again. If I have maintenance to do again, I'm going to request that Josh do the service. more

Service Legends always show up exactly as scheduled. They're very professional, and they're friendly to my pets and children. I felt comfortable that they did a thorough job on the furnace and air conditioning. From scheduling to confirming to installation, they're terrific. more

We found service legends to be very professional and efficient. We needed a new air conditioning unit, and lots of duct work, I had two small children at the time, and the staff was very understanding and patient. We ran into a few unplanned problems(not at the fault of the company) and the technicians were very well educated and took care of the issues very quickly. I would recommend service legends to anyone I know. more

They're always on time, always polite, and always call before they come. They make sure to call if they are going to arrive early. They cover their shoes before coming in the house, and they explain everything they're doing. more

It was a very good experience. The man was very cordial. We talked, and in fact, I was downstairs with him. I just had a good time while he was here. 11/13/2012

Overall, the experience has been very good. I started with Service Legends Heating & Cooling when they replaced my air conditioner. Oh, not long ago, I had a particular smell in the living room of my house, so I had somebody come over to check it out. He said the AC was draining, and everything else was fine. The man was very cordial, and he wore covers over his shoes while in the house and the whole nine yards. Afterwards, when he didn't find anything and made sure everything was okay, I found mold in a humidifier upstairs that I had just ignored. It was an exceptional experience. They're very good people. At the start of the summer, Service Legends Heating & Cooling installed a central air conditioner in my home. I have been using them for some time and they are courteous, professional, and they communicate the entire time. more

It was going to cost this much money, they did a good job. It ended up being $90 more than I thought it was going to be. I didn't like that, but I paid it, I guess I probably could have said I'm not going to pay the 90 but I didn't think that was fair. They did a great job though. more

Service Legends put in a new furnace for me a few years ago. I have them come back out and clean it every year for me. They are very good, I have had no problems with then. They come in and get right down to the job and leave once they're done. more

Extremely satisfied, nothing negative I can say about them. 9/13/2012

I've been using Service Legends for a couple of years. I first went to them on the recommendation of my daughter, who said to call them. We had multiple situations where we were trying to decide whether or not to put in a new furnace. They worked with me and did some repairs, and did not push me into getting a new one. After a while there was another issue and my furnace was 21 years old, so my son and law came out and met with the gentleman from Service Legends and they decided it would be best to get a new one. My son and law went down with the gentleman to make sure I wouldn't be charged for anything I didn't need. He said that they were honest and they were not trying to sell me parts I didn't need. I trust them and they did not try to take advantage of me because I am a widow. Every tech that has ever been here has been very polite. They come in a timely manner, and always wear booties when they are in the house. I have recommended them to someone recently so they do have a new customer. There's nothing I can say about them that is negative in any department, from the people on the phone to the quickness of the service. more

Would not recommend Service Legends 8/22/2012

I called Service Legends to do a cleaning and inspection of Heating/AC system. The saleman was high pressure and talked me into signing a service contract which I canceled the next day. Would you believe they still billed me for it three months afterwards. So my advice is don't sign anything! They never did clean the unit and still billed me $188.00. I feel I paided $188.00 have them tell me I need to replace both units. In two visits they wasted 6 hours of my time and I didn't even receive an estimate. I never did receive a formal estimate. Had to ask several times and only got a very poor hand written estimate. My advice is to stay away from Service Legends! more

A few years ago we purchased a boiler from different company. We could never quite get it working right and they proved to be little help. We decided to call Service Legends and have them look at it. The tech spent some time with it and got everything set the way it should have been in the first place. It was nice to finally have someone get it working right. Truly outstanding service, and next time we will absolutely call them again. more

Our experience with Service Legends Heating & Cooling has been great all the way around. Our tech, Tyler, has been the person who has been continually providing the service for us. He's awesome and he's helped us set up our monthly furnace checks on the internet. He does the Fall and winter check-ups on our A/C and furnace systems. We've received great service from him. He has created lines of communication that are very open and very good. He's very knowledgeable and makes great recommendations. more

From the first service call to installing the new heating and cooling system, Service Legends was nothing but professional. They made sure they understood our needs and what we were willing to pay for, and we found the happy medium. Service, meetings, and installation were on time to meet our schedule. All staff were friendly & professional. Installation was quick. Not too sure things weren't cleaner when they were done than it was before. Should have left the mower out, maybe they would have done the yard. :) more
