Service Legends

The air flow in my house is so much better now! My furnace checked out ok and the tech even opened some closed vents which will save me money on both heating and cooling! He even wore shoe covers and left the house as clean as it was when he got there. more

Service Legends Heating & Cooling were very good, and they were cheaper than the other person I used before. I had a thermostat put in last winter by a different company, and they forgot to put the jumpwire, so then comes the Spring and when I went to turn on the air conditioning, it didn't work. I called Service Legends, and the man they sent came and did a wonderful job. He explained everything to me, and I even called the boss/owner to let him know that I was very satisfied. This guy had just come back from Florida and had jet-lag, but he was an incredibly nice guy. I was very pleased with the whole situation, and I'm not making this stuff up. more

I have a service plan with Service Legends Heating & Cooling. They do the maintenance on my home's system and they have kept my furnace running. Tyler and every one of the people I've dealt with are very friendly and very helpful. They take the time to answer my questions. They're just very pleasant to deal with. more

The charges ended up being extremely excessive and then they try to play it off that you can use the amount paid towards a new system. However the new system price is horribly inflated and you will be taking advantage of twice if your a foolish enough to let them back in your house. Request multiple quotes, ask friends and family for recommendations. DO NOT rely on a radio advertisement, huge mistake. Anytime someone asks me about A/C or Furnace recommendations I blurt out DON'T CALL SERVICE LEGENDS before they even finish their sentence. It happened yesterday at work, unfortunately the co-worker had them do the emergency repairs and had the same exact experience I did. Don't let it happen to you. more

I was pleased with Joe, the employee who came to o a tune up for me. He did a thorough and professional job and explained things to me well. He did discover a problem and I will call the original installer to repair since it is still under warranty. I would use service legends again because Joe was so professional and helpful. more

I've never seen a tech be so detailed and thorough in performing a check up and service, and then leave things cleaner than he found it! He also explained the available service plans with no pushing or pressure. I hope I get him next time! more

Every technician that Service Legends Heating and Cooling has sent to my house has been very courteous. They always put on the little booties to keep my floor clean and they are very knowledgeable. They were servicing something in my house when they found a gas leak in my stove, which I was highly impressed with. They take their time and are methodical with their work. They have come the past few years for furnace and air conditioner check-ups and they spend over an hour on their visit. Previous companies we have used didn't wash out our air conditioner or stay over 10 minutes, unlike Service Legends. I trust them and am happy with their work the past 3 years. more

Service Legends did a really good job. Our furnace went bad and I kept trying to fix it myself. Eventually we called some of our local companies and they could not get to us for 3 or 4 days. So, we called Service Legends in Des Moines. They had a service tech at our place in less than eight hours after I called them. Mike inspected the old furnace and showed us the problems with it. We decided to buy a new furnace. Mike was a very sociable person and good at his job. He called his company and they sent down a sales woman right away. I liked talking with the sales woman Janet. She did a very good job at being low pressure and helping us find what we could afford. They installed the new furnace less than a day later. It went well and they were done in about 4 hours, which was what the sales rep said it would take. The installers cleaned up very well afterwards and barely made any noise. Service Legends Heating & Cooling responded immediately and we got notification of what day and time to expect them. The employee showed up on time and was very polite and professional. He definitely gave us the feeling that he wasn't going to take advantage of us and that he was going to help us see what we wanted to do to make the house more even temperatured. We felt like we were in good hands. He gave us good suggestions of what we could do that were easy fixes and minimal cost. We requested Adam to come do the work again because we previously worked with him and and he was super polite and offered more suggestions. My wife and I purchased a house knowing full well that we would have to put a new furnace, air conditioner, and all new ductwork throughout the house. I had got some estimates from a few local guys. I heard the Service Legends commercial on the radio at work so I went to their website and at 7:00 on a Friday night I sent an email that I wanted them to come out and give us an estimate. In about a half hour a lady from the office called me and set up an appointment. I could not believe how fast they got ahold of me. Nic was the comfort advisor that came out to our house. Before he even step in the door he put on shoe guards! My wife was impressed. Nic listened to our every need and told us all the options to look at. After about two hours of talking we signed the deal of a new furnace, air conditioner, and all new ductwork. One of the things I can assure you is they give you a guarenteed price! ABSOLUTLEY NO ADD ONS! We had them move the furnace to a different spot then where the boiler was sitting. So I asked nic if he could move our gas water heater as well. Turned out we had to get a new water heater because of the way it vented out the house. None of us planned on getting a new water heater but with the contracted price we did not get charged for a brand new water heater! Jason was the lead tech along with Ben at our house. Good guys! They let us know everything that was going on and why they did it that way. I could not believe after four and a half days we had a new furnace, air conditioner, ductwork, and a water heater fully operational. I cannont say enough about Nic, Jason, and Ben. My wife was actually sad to see them go. Fantastic job and I would recommend this company to everyone! Thanks again Service Legends! more

I made the switch to this company after hearing radio advertisements which enticed me to call them the next time I needed my furnace and/or ac worked on. Dom, the tech. that came to my house, was wonderful. Very patient and a hard worker. I am very impressed! more
